The tone of this new programme is for media consumption & a cover for the complete failure of the government's flawed & useless Work Programme.
Jobcentres are not equipped to deal with this anymore.
Support programmes have been offloaded to private companies for years.
JC advisors are so used to the safe cushty civil service life of following rules, doing what they are told, covering their backs, they are disconnected from reality & the real job market and in no way equipped to deal with this.0 -
Well I still haven't heard anything off either the WP provider or from the JC for my none attendance at my re introduction to the WP. It has only been about a week, but still I thought I would get a letter or a phonecall threatening me with a sanction. Really disappointed as I feel like a good old verbal disagreement with either one.0
