you can get one from the staff on the door.
You have to be able to get to them first lol

You need to get past security at all times for anything at my JC

I have written to their head office and emailed it to the directors secretary asking them to action it now as my advisor didnt even know I had an appt so how was I meant to know. It is 100% impossible to attend if no one tells you.

I have also pointed out to them in 2013 they could have used the phone, mobile phone or the new thing we have called email to book appts with people. LOL

If I have to appeal I will be invoicing the WP for the loss of any £££
mine has appointment slips and makes our next appointments while we are there with them.

at mine they have security and 1 or 2 jobcentre staff members on the door. if its just security at yours just ask them for one as they should be able to do something as simple as give out forms.

No I mean to get to the people on the doors you have to ask security and tell them why you are here or they will not let you in the buliding

This was not an appt made by the branch where I go this was a one off random appt sent by letter which I never got and the advisor never knew about

I got my discount bus photocard loaded onto my Oyster today then used said Oyster on the tube and then on the train with no issues. Journey history not showing yet though but card all worked ok!
I got my card FINALLY and the woman at the postoffice said she was once out of the work and the job centre never told her about the bus ticket discount till she had been out of work for near on 2 years!!

Anyway walked round to a ticket shop and they can not load the discount as they do not do it as their machine can not enter the expire date of the disc card! What a joke. Went to another shop and they said the same. I have to go to the station to do it but at the station you can not top up £2 so had to borrow some ££ off my sister today so I can top up £5 at the station (will only get back £1.40 from the WP!!!)

What I need to ask before I get into an argument somewhere is once the discount card is added to to oyster can you top up anywhere and get the discount or does the card have to be loaded each time you top up?

  • Did you know that Park Resorts have done all the deep cleans of their caravans this year using free labour from people on the work programme. But they have charged the owner of these caravans £60 each for the privilege of having their caravan deep cleaned by people who have had no training in deep cleaning using machines a all.
