BBC report posted in the last hour:

"Three judges in London ruled that the regulations under which most of the government's back-to-work schemes were created were unlawful and quashed them."
Opinion, advice and information are different things. Don't be surprised if you receive all 3 in response. :D

    - payback
    - apart from the usual TV sound bites the effect of the judgement is that

Those already sanctioned with withdrawal of JC allowance will be entitled to reclaim their benefits, and until new regs come into force no one should be 'forced' to participate in 'workfare'.

I am due to sign on this Friday and will ask for an appeal form in advance just to be on the safe side as you can not even get into my jc without an appt or the third degree from security
you can get one from the staff on the door.

    Edit:
I have just written out a letter that I am going to email over to the WP head office and let them see what reply I get. Just waiting on a name to send it to. Since this has come from someone at their end telling the DWP I never attended they can fix it!
what you could do is ask them for a letter confirming it was not your mistake and that could be used as proof to back up an appeal.

I have written to their head office and emailed it to the directors secretary asking them to action it now as my advisor didnt even know I had an appt so how was I meant to know. It is 100% impossible to attend if no one tells you.

I have also pointed out to them in 2013 they could have used the phone, mobile phone or the new thing we have called email to book appts with people. LOL

If I have to appeal I will be invoicing the WP for the loss of any £££
