i assume the training course you are doing is part time? if so they are likely to be willing to let you continue. signing off for a week wont get you out of the work programme. if it did everyone would be doing that. all it would do is delay it by as little as a couple of weeks.i need advise i have a work programme interview tomorrow with Reeds partnership, but i am doing IT Training Courses CCNA and VMware right now I am thinking of signing off and signing on again JSA next week.0 -
I have and am continuing to speak up and because I have done so I am made to attend 3 times a week to do an hours job search. Still being discriminated against for refusing consent and giving them my CV, an issue I have now took up with the Chief Executive which is the last stage before I go to the ICE.
Hi, I am in the same situation and just wanted to ask you a question? I am being discriminated too for refusing consent and not giving them my CV and now they want me to fill in their application tracker to prove I have been applying for jobs. I have questioned why I have to fill in their form instead of the JC ES4JP so I am waiting to see if they say it's mandatory. Does anyone know what the stages are to complain about them and who is ICE? Thank you0 -
You ususally have to get in touch with the head of Operations at your provider and then find out to to compain. Normally you would write a letter with all the points in it and wait for them to reply. If you get no satisfaction you then complain to the ICE, the Independant Case Examinerneilmol2000 wrote: »Hi, I am in the same situation and just wanted to ask you a question? If you don't get any joy from the provider, before you go to ice, make sure you speak to a manager in your jobcentre. They may be able to get things resolved much quicker.0

Some providers tell you the complaints process on their websites or they have leaflets in their offices but I think they keep these out of sight.(I found a stack of these hiding on the window sill in one of the training rooms when I had to attend customer portal training)
I took my complaint up with the manager of the office first then wrote to the Regional Operations Director, as I still wasnt happy I have now took it up with the Chief Executive which is the last stage before going to the ICE.
Not much point telling the JC, they will only tell you its an issue you will have to take up with the provider.0 -
The JC think the WP providers can do no wrong.
They always ask me how it is, and I tell them. One of them once provided with evidence actually apologised and said that she wasn't a fan of it, and that what I showed her just cemented that opinion. I told her it wasn't her fault and good luck for the (then) planned strike that was happening.
Some of them just say 'oh it's good for some people'.... yes, the poverty pimps not the clients.0
