What get's me is providers send people for the cscs cards, yet I ask for a flt licence and i have experience of driving a flt yet i need to have a job on offer and references proving I have flt experience, before they will even give me the course i want to do.

I have had enough of this carp on the WP the help I need is not there just because I really don't need their input on anything else.
the liklihood is that some courses are available for free to the unemployed while other courses charge. that is probably why you cant do the course you want to do.

No doubt if you were in the magic age range of 16 - 24, they would be offering all the courses under the sun to get you into work.
Anyone older and it's, "Nope, sorry. There's no funding available for you" even though they tell you on your initial provider interview that there will be.

At my first appointment the registration (22.7.2011) I was told they work like an agency and can place people into work which of course was a lie. The manager who told me that got made redundant in Sept last year......shame that.

The only people I 'park' are the idiots with so little brain power that they can barely tie their shoelaces.

Doesn't appear to be posting in an official capacity. And if so, I suspect heads will roll with a quote like that, lol.

A4e_adviser, don't expect you have any figures such as numbers referred, numbers **who acquired a full time permanent job directly from your assistance**, numbers of those who can't tie shoe laces? I strongly suspect you're overstating your ability to find people jobs, and do nothing other than chasing the carrots dangled in front of you by the Government, to maximise profits for A4e and meet targets.
Wanted a job, now have one.

Find a job and get a job are two different things.

So they can post under the A4E name and it's ok?

Probably not, I expect A4e would take a dim view.
