Three weeks ago the JC said it was because the WP were not helping me fill in application forms (if the silly bint knew anything she'd know that hardly anyone uses forms these days, it's all CV's) that I was still out of work!! I emailed my guy at the WP and he said that was rubbish and even if it would work and it wouldn't they have no one to sit with each person who visits there!KevInChester wrote: »They always ask me how it is, and I tell them. Last Friday when I was again asked how the WP was I said my last appt was cancelled and I do not go in till July now and he said 'but they are helping you get a job'? wo which I said 'er no they said there is nothing they can do for me' and then I told him I email in 5 jobs a week and spend 8-12 mins there once a mth then go home. He said 'are you sure'? I was 'yes I am telling you the truth' and his reply was 'I have never heard that, that is very odd'!!
I emailed the WP and now I am demanding them put everything they have done (which si nothing) in writing to help me get a job and everything they can do going forward as proof so I can copy it and give it to the JC!!
I am really sick of the !!!! and non stop applying with no replies or i am over qualified or not used the right accounts system, or you are out of work etc
I have said if they do not do something to help me I will take it further.

i suspect if people tell the jobcentre they arent doing much etc on the work programme the jobcentre then gets on their back and people end up being in there doing all sorts of crap. i think its better to just tell the jobcentre what they want to hear unless you are being bullied etc.KevInChester wrote: »They always ask me how it is, and I tell them. if you have told the jobcentre they dont do anything with you then the jobcentre may pressure them to do some thing. that something is likely to be things like daft courses and jobsearch sessions. that will be enough for the jobcentre even if it isnt for you.I dont think I will be as it will cost them £££ to get me there every day and I think you will find they will have to prove to me how a course will help me get an interview when they have told me already there is NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR ME!0 -

telling the truth wont improve things. if you dont mind being in there more often doing pointless crap then fair enough tell the jobcentre the truth. it is not cowardly telling them what they want to hear, its smart. if i could tell the truth without any negative impact on me i would.Thats the cowards way out , TELL THE TRUTH!!
