Maybe it's just all done and dusted as far as the OP is concerned? She might not even realise the thread is still being replied to?
Either that or she got fed up of us all mulling over the rights and wrongs and decided to leave us to it.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Maybe she handed over the tent fell in love and they've set up camp together? He might not have wi fi in the tent! LOL0

Hi All,
I am sorry I haven't updated the post with what happened. To be honest it is all a bit of a dissapointment. After I left for holiday my work mate was not able to find this man, now that I am back he is no longer there. The only reason I can think of is that as they are rebuilding/upgrading the station he might have been asked to move on by the station staff. So I still have the rucksack full of stuff under my desk. I was thinking about taking it to a shelter but I dont want to get rid of it yet in case he does come back. I will wait another week or so and see what I do with it.0 -
Thanks for the update, cats.
Shame you can't find him.
Maybe he's found somewhere more permanent and things are looking up for him?0 -
Why not ask at the station CATS? They may know what happened to him, or even the local police or transport police. x0

Yes this is a good idea, I might ask one of the people that work there. Really annoyed, he was there for ages and now just like that, gone!!
I do hope he is ok somewhere. In the meantime any suggestions what to do with it? should I just take it to a shelter? might be the best thing0 -

A homeless man stopped me in the street near my home once and asked for food so i made him wait outside my house while i got him some food and milk. I felt good about it until he started stalking me and stopping me in the street to tell me how he hadnt had sex for ages . It freaked me right out and i learnt a very scary lesson. It finally stopped when 2 male realtives made a point of showing him that his attention to our house was not welcome (no threats or anything but they did look scarey!).
So i am very warey about giving to the homeless now as you dont know where it may lead so i stick to donating to SHELTER now.0
