Thank you for all the kind suggestions.
Another question - is lingerie a present regarded as being for him or her? I've always been quite ambivalent about this point IYKWIM.0 -
If he likes wearing it, then it could be a present for both, depending on size of course.londonsurrey wrote: »Thank you for all the kind suggestions.

If he doesn't, then it's still a present for both, but I always think slightly skewed towards the male, but if you really want it, then it's a bit of a double bluff. I've always liked both ways of looking at it.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Both in our 50's and married for over 30 years and we still do stockings. We buy each other silly things throughout the year but Christmas is special to us. OH did not have a very nice childhood and the first Christmas we were together he actually cried when he saw the stocking I had filled for him.
This year I have bought him:
Dressing gown
Slippers
4 DVD's
3 books
A personalised calendar
A musical Monty Python mug
A Knights of Ni large fridge magnet that the arms and legs come off
Bottle of Baileys
Liqueur chocolates
Jelly beans
3 packs of different flavour coffee
A tiny racing car which is meant to be able to run up a fridge
Chocolate coins
A few other little chocolate things
Theatre tickets for Comedy of Errors and The 39 StepsThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -

Depends who buys it. If I buy it with the intention of wearing it for OH, its a pressie for him.
If I buy it for everyday wear, it's a pressie for me.
And if OH buys it, it's a pressie for me which has perks for him :rotfl:
He can't lose
Not that I'm expecting any undies this year. With an 8 month baby bump it doesn't have the same effect.

see I bought a massage oil bar for DH fr me to use on him - so definately a gift for him - but then it always puts him in the right mood - which is good for me too!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I usually offer, but he definitely prefers massaging me, which is fine by me. for much the same reason as you don't mind massaging.

We went out together and bought a HDTV with 3D glasses. Its our joint Christmas present. Something we promised ourselves for years when we could afford it. (Our old tv is 10 years old so this one should last).
Last year I bought him a Satnav which he loved but mainly he likes getting tools, and he is a torch fanatic. Also, binoculars are a good present. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
I told my oh how much he was allowed from me and the kids then packed him off to his most favorite shop in the whole world Games Workshop...It is better to stay silent and be thought a fool, than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.
