Helpful sorted out women - what did you get your oh for christmas?

We agreed to spend £20 on eachother - I got mine:
2 x cd's
A couple of books
A boxset of House dvds
Pack of Rolos
Tin of Pringles
And beyond the £20 limit, my 5 month old son 'got him' a pair of monster slippers (hubby is 39 and insists he wants one more year of funny slippers before he has to turn 'grown up'
)
There is nothing we 'need' so it is all symbolic really, plus the birth of our son means finances are tight and we'd rather put any spare cash into his savings. We always get eachother something though, it's nice to give, even if small presies

A business card holder - the culture of where his new job is means keeping lots of business cards that are given to you
A t.shirt from River Island
A shirt from River Island
Socks
Always get him at least one pair of socks at Xmas 0 -
We weren't going to bother this year as was meant to be buying a house in the summer. But after that fell through we decided to have one last year of really treating ourselves.
We have a £50 budget although OH seems to have blown the budget on me, plus £10 on a silly stocking.
I got him some spring back cricket stumps and a huge cricket bag, as he has been hinting all year. Unfortunatly he has guessed what they are as can't hide the bag at all.
They were his main present, plus a retro car calendar.
Then for the stocking (which went over budget)
a Guinness Thermal mug
a bottle of cheapy baileys
toberone
muppet socks
a muppet t-shirt
the daft sod has really treated me and got me a Kindle and paid for a flight to N. Ireland next year, so I can go away with my friends for a long weekendRemember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
I got my OH:
A geeky T shirt
A cool bumper sticker for his car
A book
A flying monkey to ping around his office
A Kelly Brook calender
A PS3 game
A personalised lighter
A mug for his constant tea drinking
And a Xmas outfit I'm gonna dress up in!
I guess you could say I've covered all bases this year lol0 -
I got him a Sony Blu ray dvd player, lost series 5 and 6 and Paul on blu ray, a couple of books he wanted, some sweets and the new call of duty xbox game in the amazon black friday deal as an extra!0

!
What a lovely word, paramour
Well.
We know he likes:
1. Flowers and plants
2. You
Therefore, I would suggest greeting him on Xmas morning starkers but for an extremely rare orchid between your teeth. Well below budget.
You could also ask if he would like to stroke your mimosa/admire your Venus fly trap etc.
PS I have no paramours, so maybe you shouldn't follow my advice.
PSS Sorry its OT, but do any women put loads of effort in, but find their beloveds get rather "interesting" things in return?
(My best one was purple underwear a size too small. I mostly look fine in my kecks but he somehow managed to get the ONE style that made it all podgy and droopy.
Also, I don't really like purple)0 -
Where did you get that Kira? My husband and I have a bean to cup machine and I know he would love a gift like that.
As for what I got him this year, I got him a wine-tasting course that he wanted
Have a look at Hasbean Coffee- its called the "In my mug" subscription, The weekly one is the more expensive option, there is a monthly one as well i think. DH is tucking in to another cup as we speak!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I haven't totally finished for my OH, don't worry you're not the only one!
I HAVE got him a mug, hot chocolate and have ordered men's bedsocks (he loves mine!) and the 'Guess How Much I Love You' baby book (we have a baby due in March)
I still want to get him a few more things though
