Moorhen - positive thoughts for the baby x
Beth - I hope that if I ever have kids that my mum is as nice as you were yday for your DD!
Shalva - happy Hannukah!
I'm exhaustedand don't feel well
. I ended up spending over 8 hours on trains yday as both my trains were delayed at times. I got home 11.15pm. The meeting was useful though, and it was lovely to see my friend
.
I'm hoping to take this afternoon off as I have 2 lieu days owed to me and if I don't take any of it by Thurs I lose it. I'll lose at least one day though. I'm meant to be having an observed teaching tomorrow morning but I think I may cancel as I'm not feeling well.
OS wise - bins emptied, DW will prob go on tonight, need to put away/organise all the Xmas presents I wrapped as they are all over the lounge floor at mo!
Have a great day all

Morning All,
Just a quick 1 as apparently I have an overnight guest coming today  so tidying is in order. Have also made up a mini hamper of hm bits as a quick gift for said visitor.
Healing vibes for the little baby & any one else that needs them x
Lou.. just incase you can't find the candle inside you, I have lit one for you & will send positive vibes every time I look at it
HH glad you were able to have a longer sleep, it makes such a difference I find. I am planning on having absolutely everything done by Friday so that I can have a day of rest whilst DP drives up to Wigan & back to get the lil monsters aka the grandchildren :rotfl::rotfl:
Beth, You don't fancy popping in here with your Mary Poppins act do you? No? don't blame you :rotfl::rotfl:will have to roust DS which is a job in itself

morning!
Have cleaned the house, changed the bed and cooked bacon sarnies for the chaps so far today - ironing to do then its off to work for me.
My sis called round for a chat - she is struggling with her weight atm - BM of 38 I think she said and she's only 5ft ish. She's off to see the dishy doc tomorrow to have a chat about the best thing to do as she's also suffering with IBS(as do I). Her OH is no help:mad: just critisizes her then sits there and stuffs his face with nuts and biscuits! grrrr.
Donny - I think its lovely that you've been helping your DS and his GF and done it in the right way too :T lovely practical gifts.
(((hugs))) to the big long list of you who need one x x x x
Hope you all have a lovely day x x xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Or not at the case might be
:hello: Welcome Delani we are a friendly bunch who try to support each other.
TL - I am a soft touch I know, my Mum was too, but we only have him an he will get everything eventually, hopefully later rather than sooner, so I would rather see them have things now. Their faces over the vacuum cleaner will stay with me forever. They did have a cheap one her Mum got them a year ago, but with the building work in the flat it has almos given up the ghost, would cut out, and didn't pick much up. This one was on offer with 50% off - sorry MS to he end. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -

Thanks Donny
Well not a good start, after cleaning yard , washing and disinfecting it stupid dog just left me a large xxxxxx ..... Wish dogs could use a loo lol
So have decided, sausage stew. Has sausages in freezer so saved any trip to shop. I think I made it last Tuesday as well, stepkidsnwho will be pleased as Tuesday is their night to stay lol. But easy and cheap as 7 to feed tonight.TOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0 -
JulieG - if you're even thinking of straining past your bump to shave your legs you must be due any second. Best of luck!! xxxx
Doelani - I stocktaked my freezer last week too and was shocked to find what was in there. Suffice to say I need to get my act in gear and get things from the freezer more often - specially if we're thinking of moving.
House does need cleaning, but OH is home later - why should I do it all?! So have had haircut - gorgeous cut - will need "doing" every morning - been told I need to have more time for me. Will go through makeup bag in a minute and this evening will do my clothes in an effort to revamp myself into a stunning mummy, rather than a bag of old spuds tied in the middle.Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
Morning All
Waiting for my little Christmas Guest - my friend's Springer Spaniel, who we have over Christmas, he is so adorable and very attached to me for some reason.
Sat watching A wonderful life last night with DD, I just love that film it makes me all gooey inside:D
Not much to do today, I seem to be ahead of myself which isn't a bad thing, so I might try and do a few rows of knitting (anymore than a few rows really makes my hands ache now
)
Welcome Kitty:santa2:
I will have a little word with the man upstairs for the baby Moorhen (((((Hugs))))) and healing vibes are winging their way to the family x
(((((((((Hugs)))))))))) to JackieG, beth, Lou, Dazi, Molly, lamewolf and anyone else who needs one xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
