Ebay seller has threatened me..what do I do?

Whether or not this was an actual threat, if it was and nothings been done the seller is free to harass other people on the action taken in this case.
There's nothing racist about it, seller sent a message which came across as threatening.0 -
In the first message the OP posted, the 'extra' I read as a replacement item. The OP said that the seller had sold the item to somebody else and that was the reason that they were refunded. Item sold. why does he use CAPS for those words, CAPS = raised voice or shouting.
Then in the second message he says
"I dont care about your police solicitors and other things ,IF you dont want item you got 2 days cancel it"
So what do you think he is talking about when he tells the OP the above and that he's got 2 days to cancel it? the OP has paid for nothing and nowhere does it state that the item is being replaced.
I would have took that as a threat aswell
In answer to your question, the seller is stating (in his second message) that the buyer has two days to cancel the sale. i.e. Before delivery.
The OP started making suggestions about calling police etc in his emails to the seller. The seller is making an effort. All he wanted to know in his last line was does his nervous buyer want the item delivered or not.
Also, as the OP has not posted them, we have no idea of his tone or the wording of his messages.0 -

I looked at the sellers other feedback comments - in 8 instances, the seller leaves positive feedback for the buyer, where he refers to mistakes/misunderstanding/cancelled transactions. I contacted 5 of those buyers - 3 of them replied to me stating that the seller had threatened them extreme violence if they didnt take back their negative feedback
Once, & your post might be fair enough. Twice, three times...4 TIMES???
I'd like to see you cope in similar circumstances. Be grateful you havent encountered the Polish Seller from Hell!!!0 -
Would you care to post their username here so anybody who wants to can block this person?0

Yes - that would be useful.0

I don't understand why you haven't gone to the police. You feel genuinely threatened by this person, and you have messages from other people who have also been threatened. Surely by not going to the police you are allowing this person to carry on threatening people.
Please, pretty please!:D0 -
My uncle worked in the police for over 30 years and got threatened every few days. He said people who make verbal/written threats are just letting off steam and rarely carry it out. It's the ones who stay polite and in control that you have to watch. I've been threatened before but I would never think of giving in on principle unless or until that person actually showed me they were serious, and it would take a lot more than the immature act of dog dirt through the letterbox as well

An overwhelming majority of threats are never acted upon.
Sorry to be a bit blunt but this is a case of "man up"!0 -
If somebody is going to do you harm they would be pretty dumb to tell you their intentions, its the quiet ones you need to worry about not the gobs***es , but i would report it to ebay and follow their advice as next time they might threaten somebody vulnerable0

I understand why you have done what you have done.
If it was me,I would give him chance to get a few more sales under his belt,THEN report him to ebay, in private, detailing how you and others were intimidated.
If you want to discuss your fears with police, face to face, without officially reporting it,its possible they will be prepared to do a criminal record check,. though they wont tell you if he has a record, they may hint he doesnt. .This set my mind at rest once when I had a nightmare buyer.
I believe ebay have their own police section, you could get a reference to allow the police to contact ebay police direct if this ever happened again.0 -
I'd like to know this persons username so I could block him on my account - honestly, 99% of E Bay transactions are trouble free but when I read about this sort of situation and others like it it just puts me right off using E-Bay even though the worst I've ever encountered was a faked DVD and a buyer who said the phone I sold him had broken down after only a few days (I just refunded him and said to keep it). OP this must have ruined your Christmas, just not worth it.0
