Just had a rant on the eBay board

Basically half copied from there, it's annoyed me soooooo much, there are some really greedy selfish people out there!

I sell an item on eBay for charity, the charity benefits from all sales, only costs is the listing fee as I get the other donated. Anyway some evil person who must be so greedy has bought an item and is copying them to sell on to make money themselves. They are even using my description apart from the charity donation! It's made me so blooming angry! Part of me is so tempted to pay the person a personal visit, they live round the corner from a friend I am visiting soon, just to tell them what a greedy pig I think they are! Amongst other choice names!
One day I might be more organised...........

Can I join the I'm having a bad day too
went to see my gp as I needed some more pills now he's told me my stomach problem is worse than they had originally told me so I now face an operation
then when I came out some old feller reversed into my car no damage fortunately and he had the cheek to point out to me the damage on his bumper that he had done so I politley told him he either should get a smaller car or give up driving
and dh has just phoned to say work are messing him about over a job he's on and we will have to claim the money seperatley which will take 3 months to pay instead of 1 and it's all made me cross

    pam xx

I read my own post back and it sounds so unfeeling. I meant to say that you can now do what you can to help. I realise it must be so hard for you. I really hope your friend can find a way to use your help. I have no real advice but to say - keep being there. Even just knowing you're around will be a help even if you feel you're doing nothing. It's going to be a long time for them.

I'm going to stop now cos I'm not expressing myself very well. And I'm making myself sad thinking of that poor family.

    Alll the best.

    ===============

Busy day today. Not much OSing... Went down to the local library to a meeting with the locals as we're all trying to set up a children's playgroup / activity thing. It's a really new area, so there's nothing really here at present for the children. We've decided to concentrate on Easter at present, so are going for Easter crafts, Easter Egg Hunt and various other bits and pieces. Myself and another mum are going to be making pon-pom rabbits and chicks for the children to hunt, to then exchange for treats - book voucher, sweets etc. Some of the littleys cannot eat chocolate, so we didn't want them out there searching for the stuff if they then have to give it all up!

Proud mummy moment! Daughter used the BIG toilet without a toilet seat today! Normally if I hold her above one she doesn't like it and won't go, but she did today! Will make going out so much easier if I don't have to cart around a potty all the time. :) She's only 20 months too!

After that we went to the local shop and bought some essentials - butter, broccoli, milk and some reduced bread rolls for OH packup. Daughter very proudly carried around the butter until she saw the broccoli, then dropped the butter and grabbed the broccoli. Just as I was saying that we didn't need that, she took a great big bite out of it and then looked at me, with a mouthful of raw brocc saying "mmmm, yum yum"....so we ended up buying it! Couldn't very well put it back with a baby sized chunk taken out of it. :D She then followed me round the shop munching happily on tiny pieces of raw broc until I asked her to put it in the basket and at least wait until it was cooked! :D I'm very lucky in that she loves her veg....perhaps a little tooooo much! :D

Home for lunch (bread roll, cucumber slices & cheese cubes) and then popped her upstairs for a nap.

Quite chuffed today as I got my car insurance through and it was £200 cheaper than last year - bonus! But I did some searching online and found some cheaper quotes still, so I rang up my insurers and they reduced my quote by a further £70! SO my monthly premium goes down from £60+ to just £33! Nearly half. Am really pleased.

Haven't heard from the job yet...but they did say sometime this week, so perhaps I'm a little overly eager to hear! :D

Tea will be grilled pork with the millet mash recipe...going to try it to see how well it goes down. :)

    Hello all

Sorry, I haven't looked at yesterday or today's post - I have been in bed with a rather horrid wee virus type thing. Feeling sick, coughing, pain in ribs when I cough, and generally achy. I had the rib pain on Friday and was a bit worried because I had pleurisy years ago and that was the first symptom. DH phoned me in sick today and I have just had another coughing fit so DH says on no account am I to attempt work tomorrow. Only had one slice of toast and a small soup today but I am feeling a bit better. At least the sickie feeling has gone. Interestingly at lunch time DH came up to tell me that the first Monday in February was National Sickness day - the day the most folk are off sick!!!

Anyway hope you are all OK and will catch up with you all as soon as I can.

    Love to all
