Wow this thread has gone really quiet!
I went to gym today, first time in a while. Done 4km on bike without stopping, then done another 2.5km as well as 6 minutes on cross trainer, 5 minutes of rowing machine, 5 on treadmill. Not bad considering I haven't done exercise in a while!0 -

Just been gym AGAIN! Twice in less than 24 hours go me! lol
I do hate dieting, so now I'm not going to use the word 'diet'0 -

I cancelled the gym thingy that I had booked for yesterday - will call them to reschedule when I know what is going on with the other issue that creept up on me.
On a positive side though.... 70.9 today which is absolutely great and... up to date with my food diary, I normaly fill it in first kind of plan it and then just follow for the day....
How is everyone else doing?0 -

Slightly more seriously, I started off out for the walk to the market (as that's roughly the right distance for the first day of C25K) and did OK. But as I passed the Buddhist centre, I noticed they had an open session of yoga on in about half an hour, so I sped up, went and got loads of fruit and veggies, then went back.
It's quite strange; where I used to be quite the gym bunny, with all the Muay Thai kickboxing, pilates, yoga, and the like, some bits came back to me instantly, so I could do them well (to the surprise of the teacher) and some were just hopeless. The pops and crunches from my spine and one hip were quite loud, though.
So after an hour and a half, walked home, dropped off the veggies and went back out and walked round the shops for ages. And treated myself to M&S chilli & coriander prawns, a rocket/chard bag of leaves, some trout fillets and a tiny bit of steak. So there's food for a few meals there.
I now ache - my hips, particularly. But, it's exercise, and I might be mad enough to go again next week!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll
