2.2 rounds to 3?
yeah rite..0 -
Nooooo
I mean maybe it rounds it UP, not to the nearest like normal people would do :rotfl:
Also, it could have been rounding up to 6 before and now it's rounding down to 3, when really it's nearer the middle if that makes sense?:j0 -
I know I was 76.4 when I started the diet - I think in kg not pounds....
I am 73.00 now (grrrr) but was 71.8 for 3 days running
So however one looks at it it IS 3.4 down since Xmas anyway....
Just got to avoid those Turkish shops.....

So I think we have established that you NEED to allocate calories to sweet stuff, perhaps every few days, GR - or you go, how shall we say - a little bit loopy?

I've just pigged out on a mega protein meal - eggs and beans on toast.
I pity the cat sleeping downwind of me this evening :whistle:I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

I have absolutely no control and halva is ONE of my weaknesses - I can not buy a box and have a little of it every day. Same with chocolates.
Where I live is fine, the only shop we have on the estate.. flies die mid air it is so filthy and almost empty anyway - even if the guy had something there that I consider "wowwwwwwwwwwwww".. would not buy it from him, the shop stinks so... it is a good thing
But as I went to my daughter's this weekends, there is that lovely Turkish shop and.... sigh....0 -

Our Turkish Food Centre has a baklava counter &bakery. So you can buy 1 or 2 pieces and then enjoy them at home with a coffee/iced water and can't have too many. I reckon the first couple taste better than any of the others as well. So it makes you enjoy them more.
Never noticed if they do halva the same way. Good when you're skint though, compared to a supermarket charging a fortune for a giant box of something not all that good. That you end up eating in one anyhow. Probably until you feel a bit sick. (I'm human too
)
It's hard shopping there with DD in tow, as she'll eat an entire pide flat bread thingummy before we've got the mile home, especially as you can buy them hot from the oven for about 60p. But it might be an option - to get something small and just enjoy it without guilt, but allowed for in your week?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Well my driving test was cancelled today! So just had a lesson instead. The roads were just a bit too icy at the sides for some manouvres and the parking bays in the test centre were icy.
So today I've mostly stayed at home. I did have a few Thorntons truffles, left over from Christmas (I bet GR still doesn't have chocs left from xmas
) apart from that I've been good, boiled eggs with wholewheat toast and ok a packet of crisps (French Fries, 83 cals)
Going to have a stir fry or something with rice, but lots of veg tonight I think!0 -
where is everyone, huh?
the weight I put on (roast and halva) has dropped off.. back to 71.8 as I was last week before the roast so... will be good now and avoiding all the turkish shops temptations LOL
how is everyone else doing?0 -
I'm still about. Still losing weight. I don't weigh myself so i'm not sure now much but clothes are getting bigger.
Not using MFP though because i'm not doing calorie control. Well, except last night when I wanted to check something
