Minion been to hospital and issued with orthotics. Then taken to bank so she could get some money out and then buy a couple of presents (DD1 and Mrs KH )
I have bought some more chopsticks and decided that the 'sales' are a waste of time, as nothing is more than a couple of pound less than it allegedly was previously, and a lot appears to be the store seconds, like the things with dodgy seams and poor colour matching. For supposedly one of the businest days of the year, it wasn't that bad out, even in the late afternoon when the last of the kids broke up from school.
Minion has also been read the riot act and has so far cleaned the tiles, the cupboards, the back door and cleared the worktops. Once she has finished dinner, she will be loading the DW and vacuuming up the mess she made with her baking attempts. The Ninja kitty has been blow dried to remove the dusting of flour he received whilst I was otherwise engaged.
I have chucked a load of her stuff in a bin bag, put the coffee table back, removed Ninja from the tree several times and put the WM on again.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Listy update. Working tomorrow then off on Thursday.
Ishtar - when my kids were little I used to go to the supermarket really late on in the evening once they were tucked up in bed & DH was in. This year I will be heading off at 6.30am on Thursday when DH goes to work & they will still be snoring their teenage heads off:rotfl:

Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped!

The Leaning Tower of Ironing
Monday started at 31 items - 12 ironed + 3 added = 22 items
Tuesday 2 added - 13 ironed = 11 items0 -
I made freezer surprise pie for tea (white sauce, bought puff pastry, a bag labeled ham and another that may have been turkey) - quite nice, but the pastry shrunk away from the dish and bottom layers were soggy.
Also made potato salad like we used to have at home, which is now in the fridge, ready for tomorrow.
Laundry is almost done and OH is currently ironing. I'll do another stint with DS2 in his room before feeding him supper and parcelling him off to bed and tidying the kitchen. The room is still not done, but I've decided to go out for a game of cards with OH. Life's too blinking short and I've done quite a bit today.
Have a nice evening, everyone. x0 -

Evening all, i've been busy since i came home and wrapped a load of pressies. DD's school pressies all wrapped and ready for her last day tomorrow..
House wise it isn't looking to bad, need to keep on top of it tomorrow. Plus boys need a haircut, i need a new fire grate and i've a parcel to be collected.
OH got on well today and will be admitted next wednesday, they had no beds today. He has another NA meeting to go to on thursday, fingers crossed it keeps him well.
Right i better unload the dw and hang some more wet clothes over the rad plus shout at some children to go to bed.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0
