  • I'm joining a bit late again this week if that's ok. Work just been horrible so not much flying going on. I've only been working there for a few weeks and had a feeling it wouldn't last long from early days because of the way they treat their staff. But after the last couple of days, I'll have to think really hard and decide if I want/can/need to put up with it or just call it a day. They are so disrespectful and treat us like disposable assets:mad:

    Anyway, my list so far:

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    Level one
    Clear and sweep/mop/hoover the floors
    Clear work surfaces and table
    Level Two
    Wipe the work surfaces
    Clear and clean window sills
    Level three
    Clean cooker and/or hob
Make sure you have everything bought/ordered/list made for the weekend.

Tuesday - Living Room, hall, downstairs loo, any other downstairs rooms you've missed

    Level One
Declutter floors even if it's just into a box or binbag to hide away.
    Sweep/mop/hoover floors and stairs
    Level Two
    Dust all dusty areas
Last minute check on presents - have you got everything?
    HH wrap
    Level Three
    S&S downstairs loo

Wednesday - Upstairs or Downstairs if it's a bungalow or a topsy-turvy house!
    Level One
Declutter floors - either put away or into a box or bin bag so at least it's tidy
    Hoover/sweep/mop all upstairs
    Level Two
    Clean bath/shower, sink, toilet
Strip, wash and remake all beds
    HH Wrap
    Level Three
    HHI
    HH me time
    Dust all dusty bits

    • Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card/present to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them!
    • Have you posted everything - last day for First Class mail is Tuesday! Oh no! I haven't posted anything so I'll have to get going today and hope the cards get there on time!
    Congrats Bonnie Bumpkins.
Mumto5 - I hope you feel better soon.

I also need to sort out our holiday and get ready for a puppy. We're rehoming a puppy for my cousin (his friend couldn't keep it anymore) and although I've grown up with dogs, I've never had one as an adult so that will be an experience. I'm very excited:j

Anyway, I better start flying or I'll never get the list down. Cards first, then kitchen and loo.

    Have a good day everyone!

Have been doing a few jobs on my list which now means upstairs should be ready for a clean.

Going to go and do the cleaning now then have a shower. Rather than go into the big town for the remaining presents I am going to have a walk to our local shops, there is a lovely little gift shop there and I have been meaning to look for ages. Going to treat myself to a nice cuppa while I am out too. Best get moving then!

[STRIKE]Wrap DHs presents[/STRIKE] I have also set up the wooden music stand I have bought him, it looks beautiful and I am really looking forward to him seeing it...can't wrap it up so shall put loads of tinsel around it instead :D
Get a small gift for my mum
Get 2 gifts for DHs music students
Put music books on new shelving unit
    Oh...and the lists

I keep forgetting the important things - congratulations, bonnie.

Hugs to all flyladies suffering from various lurgies or looking for misplaced GUAG.

Rant alert - DS1 was supposed to be at college by 10.30 and is still in bed. That's the boy they can't speak highly enough of, who 'really wants to do this' and who is hoping for an apprenticeship with Channel 4. It's not as if I hadn't tried to get him up. Tea is going in the SC and then I'll try again, because I need the bathroom.

Helloooo xx I managed to access the laptop yayyyy...no mean feat now that DS is home from Uni :0) !!

    Congratulations Bonnie.

I've caught up with the fred..I do find it inspiring. In my head I have these images of me turning into a domestic goddess through the magic of flylady, the reality has some way to go :o heyho

I've got a budgie! He's called Charlie and he's cute. He arrived on Thursday and seems to have settled ok...although he did fall off his perch when I dropped the lid off a tin of Quality Street yesterday...ooops. No harm done, he's chirping merrily this morning.

Flying. Ahhh ermmmm. Not sure why routine flew out the window when DS walked through the door, but it did. DS sleeps most daylight hours so it shouldn't affect me at all. Anyway today is a new day. WM is on...it's a start :o

Think I'll have a coffee and make myself a listy.

    Bye for now xx

I would love to join in this week. We have had further power cuts (all day Tuesday)and today we have power but out boiler has broken down. :( I am really trying to remain positive. And flying keeps me warm but is very tiring.

    Mawnin' all.

    First and foremost Congratulations Bonnie:beer::T:T:T
Looks like I should theoretically have an easy day, as most ofthe list is already covered, with some N/A here.
Wednesday - Upstairs or Downstairs if it's a bungalow or a topsy-turvy house!
    Level One
Declutter floors - either put away or into a box or bin bag so at least it's tidy
    No clutter to start with!:p:p:p
    Hoover/sweep/mop all upstairs
Whole bungalow done by Mr LW:A
    Level Two
    Clean bath/shower, sink, toilet
Loo and sink done yesterday (as we only have the one);:D bath will be done Saturday (or Friday afternoon if we get ahead of ourselves) when Mr LW takes the bath lift out for me:o
Strip, wash and remake all beds
Saturday task – as per our usual routine (I need assistance with this):o
    HH Wrap
    N/A:p
    Level Three
    HHI
None to do!:p (I'm banned at the moment in any case, til shoulder is better):(
HH me time That'll be my HHYoga, then:o
    Dust all dusty bits
    Dragons, here I come!:D

Won't work out like that though, as I can always find something that wants doing.

We have Mr LW's pal A coming over tonight for cider/gaming; so I'm doing us an easy dins (pasta in cheese sauce, and we've chocolate mousse for pud) so that I don't have to wear my poor little brain out doing dins.:D I'll take Sidney for his 20:00 walk on my own, while Mr LW waits here for A to arrive.

We need to find out if A is going to his Mum's for Sunday - if he isn't, I shall feel duty-bound to invite him here, and I really don't like having visitors for meals, so hoping he's already got something organised.;)

Mr LW has managed to get tomorrow off (his last day's Annual Leave), so we'll have our celebration meal then; he's not actually back to the office then til next Wednesday, as they've given him the early shift Friday, so wfh, and finish at 14:30.

So I may not be around a great deal after today, til Wednesday next week - thought I'd mention it, as I don't want you all worrying about me.;)

Anyways - I think I hear another caffeine infusion:D calling my name, so I must go and answer it.

    MERRY YULE EVERYONE!:xmastree:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
