    • [STRIKE]Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially[/STRIKE]! It is Boxing Day on Monday and Bank Holiday Tuesday so some shops are not open.. the big supermarkets are.
    • Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped!
    • Have we located stockings? - n/a
    • Make sure your timetable for christmas day is sorted and everyone knows their tasks.. who is spud peeling? Who is stuffing the bird etc..? n/a - will await my mum's delegation on the day & I'll offer if not
    • Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card/present to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them! n/a
    • Get out any special Christmas crockery and placemats - make sure it is all clean and ready for use. n/a
    • [STRIKE]Have you posted everything - last day for First Class mail is Tuesday! - [/STRIKE]

    Parcel has arrived so thats DD's final pressie (except fruit for stocking) and another for my neice, now I just need to finish buying for peeps & get on with the making!


    Monday - kitchen and dining room
    Level one
    Clear and sweep/mop/hoover the floors - vacuumed but will need doing again before the end of the week!
    Clear work surfaces and table - Working on clearing the backlog of dishes first! I swear they're breeding :eek:
    Level Two
    Wipe the work surfaces - happening regularly, but only the one I prep on, need to clear all the others before I can do them.
    Clear and clean window sills
    15 minutes wiping anything that is grubby - TD/WM/Shelves
    Level three
    Clean hob
    Make sure you have everything bought/ordered/list made for the weekend. - list made, just need to go and buy it now.

    Tuesday - Living Room, hall, downstairs loo, any other downstairs rooms you've missed

    Level One
    Sweep/mop/hoover floors and stairs - Just need to do the stairs and vacuum again after DD has finished making the Xmas cards tomorrow
    Level Two
    Dust all dusty areas
    Last minute check on presents - have you got everything? - No! I still need to go buy stuff & make stuff as well! :eek::eek:

    Wednesday - Upstairs or Downstairs if it's a bungalow or a topsy-turvy house!

    Saturday: Last minute shopping & wrapping, sort DD's bag for going away, gather gifts for X's family from DD and bag them up ready to go with her. Ironing?
    Sunday : XMAS
    Monday: DD away (morning/lunch time?)

    Right, grabbing some lunch then hitting town. I should have all the Xmas shopping done by 6pm tonight and be well on my way to the craft ones being done. :D
    Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Thanks for the job congrats. I'm very excited as you can probably tell. I've treated myself to a morning off and other than make bread I've not really achieved anything :o however I'm full of coffee and ready to go this afternoon (starting at 1pm) :cool:

    I am not a fan of Christmas but I have tried hard this year to be a bit less bah humbug. I don't like new year either. Actually I'm really quite a miserable person :rotfl:

    Sorry I've been MIA - last week was mad at work and I also lost Wispa so things weren't great :(

    However, I have got all the presents needed so just wrapping to do.

    Today I'm tackling the Children's Bedrooms. If I don't return, send in a search party! List as follows, below:

    Change sheets
    Tidy bookcases
    Dust
    Hoover
    Plus, wipe down paintwork - those grubby fingerprints have been around for quite a while :o[/STRIKE]

    Yay! DD (7) helped with her room so I only had to really concentrate on DS's room (he's only 2, so tried to 'help' but ended up drifting off and doing something else).

    Off to do fun things this afternoon - they are painting salt dough decorations for the tree, I will be icing cakes, wrapping the final presents and generally chilling out.
