    Morning all!

    Belated Happy Birthday, AnW's! x
Sounds like sound advice, Wendy! I don't think anybody who really cares would treat you like that.
    Hugs and coping vibes, Vanilla!

Today, Matthew, I'm going to be juggling..... laundry (at various stages), LR and DS2's RoD - both are moving towards acceptable levels of 'clean and tidy' in small increments. :D

I have to remind myself of flylady wisdom on a regular basis, though - it took longer than a few weeks to get to this stage and will therefore take longer to be sorted properly. Whilst I'd love it to be perfect for Christmas, I know it won't be, but it will be lots better! :T

I got up early (although only because I heard DS1 run a bath :o), went to the post office to collect a parcel and went via the market on the way home. Fresh toasted teacake for breakfast. :j

Laundry and the two rooms are a WIP - apart from that I've got to remember to phone the dentist.
Anyone for a HHC at 11.30?

Well, the drains may be resolved if the gods are with us: engineers turned up last night and re-rodded our part of the drainage system and poured various noxious chemicals down the pipes to clear the whatever it was that was blocking the system._pale_

Him Indoors has been to the doctor's about his scald from the hot water bottle (he had booked in last week with a short list of things to ask) and has instructions and antibiotics Just In Case. As we are 5 minutes from an A&E, there is always back up.

So, things are coming together nicely: well, apart from our usual Nut Roast Wellington. It usually feeds several people over several days but there aren't enough of us around to justify the construction, so we need a veggie alternative.

I'll be doing what flying I can when I can - no change there then! - and working on some deep cleaning so we don't get visited by plague. Well, apart from self inflicted due to

I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere this morning. I'm just doing bits and pieces all over the place - maybe I ought to concentrate on one part and get that done first.

Thanks for my cards everyone - they've just arrived.

I've been ambling along getting ready for Christmas and apart from some dreams my heads been ok to but then I got a text from the exboyfriendish?? (not sure what else to call him) asking how I am etc and being all nice. Of course I haven't heard from him since I "lent" him some money about a fortnight / three weeks ago and haven't seen him since October half term. So where I thought he wasn't interested anymore now I'm all confused :o
Wendy honey, like others here, I feel that he's taking major advantage of your kind and generous nature.:( You deserve better treatment than this. I hope I don't give offence by saying that in your shoes, I'd have told him to go and do one by now!:o (After demanding that the loan be repaid, of course).;)

Just going to take Sidney for his lunchtime constitutional, then I shall see how quickly I can get the dusting done one-handed.:o

Ooh, I nearly forgot, I have to make a chocolate mousse this afternoon too, as I promised Mr LW I would.:o

I thought that too, Jue. On the other hand, I get bored/discouraged too easily and I figure that if I carry on as I am for long enough, I should get there in the end.

Thanks for the HHC - Clean and dry laundry is folded and taken upstairs. Ironing pile stacked neatly for OH tonight (insert evil laugh) and some assorted gibble dealt with.

Then DS2 asked for lunch, which doesn't happen too often. He ate well, too, and I'm just finishing my hot drink before heading back into his room for another HHC (from 1.15 if anyone is interested).

I promised that I would set the Wii back up for him to keep him entertained for a bit longer. OH is at work, DS1 at college and there is nobody else who could have him for a bit (although I've just had an idea!).
