Back from work and I need to pick up DD at 2:30.....I would have taken her with me but she commented the other day that Rudy (a reindeer instead of the traditional elf that comes on the 1st of Jan) has been very quiet this year, so this is my last chance to do something properly....He is going to get the mince pies out and try them for Father Christmas....might as well as no-one in the house likes them!!! And he is also getting some nice colourful crackers!!1

I'm going to put the hoover and duster round before that though and then DD and I will try and get on with the lists.........hope you are all ok xx

Change the sheets and put in wash
[STRIKE]Put the floordrobe in the wardrobe[/STRIKE]
Vacuum the landing and the bedroom
[STRIKE]Remove anything that should be elsewhere[/STRIKE]
Tidy away excess slap, smellies and shoes
    Dust and deweb
    Wipe paintwork
Sort through a box of stuff, or a cupboard/chest of drawers

    [STRIKE]Clean the windows[/STRIKE]
    15 minutes on the landing
    HHI

    Plus morning and evening dailies.

It's really starting to look quite good!

Christmas things are under control (mostly!) - not looking forward to the supermarket shop tomorrow/Thursday, and with two children in tow...might have to buy a bottle of something to reward myself with!

    Take care

    • Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially! It is Boxing Day on Monday and Bank Holiday Tuesday so some shops are not open.. the big supermarkets are.

I love our dentist! 2 appointments for DS1 and me for this Friday to sort toothache. I really didn't think they'd be able to fit us in. As a bonus, DS2 also has a physio appt for January and I've chased up his blood test results. :T

His bedroom looks better, too, and I've made good progress with the laundry, but not the LR. :( Going to do something about this straight away, but don't think I'll get far enough. I really wanted to put the tree up tonight. We'll see. I'm going for 2 HHCs back to back before OH is back and claims the sofa.

I've done the bedrooms today. DH finishes work tonight for Christmas so there's no way he will be up early in the morning so I thought it better to get the bed stripped and done. DD1's bedding done Sunday evening. All draped round indoors now, it hasn't rained so far today but it's been damp and cold.
