2012 weight loss goals.................

I've continued marking up my original post (#252) each week but here's my monthly progress.
Eight weeks of 2012 completed, five pounds lost (that's only one this month).
I'm trying to work out the optimum calorie intake for weight loss as when I had the lowest average calories my weight appeared not to change.0 -
Hi everyone
I know I disappeared a bit but did manage to stay more or less on the wagon and have made it to 69.5 kilos which is a new low for me and 1.5kg down from my starting weight here. I did go up a bit at Christmas and at the end of January so set myself a goal of 3kilos in February which I've more or less achieved. I'm going to set another goal of 3kg in March though I know it will be ambitious - this will take me to very near 'normal' weight for my height in terms of BMI. Still off the booze and the chocolates as well
Glad to hear everyone else is still working away too!0 -
I would like to join to. I have shot up from 8.5 to 10 stone since just before Christmas :eek::eek: I have been laid up with a bad back for weeks and it has just piled on. Hardly moving and eating out of boredom has caused this so I need a swift kick up the *ss to sort my self out
If I don't get my weight down my back gets worse :eek:Hello! Could I please join? I would like to loose a stone. Weighed myself this morning and am determined to get back on track. I quit smoking two months ago so need something to motivate me not to over eat.
I quit smoking 5 weeks ago which does not help with the weight does it

Hi everyone ,
I started in January with everyone however really injured my back and have been in agony over the weeks! I have recovered and I am back! starting tomorrow I am back on the wagon with you all0 -
Just back from a 6mile walk:T
There is a programme on this week BBC2 Tuesday night - Horizon. The truth about exercise. Suggests many could benefit from just 3mins high intensity activity a week, whats the betting I dont fall into that category.
How is everyone else getting on with doing exercise?Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

Bet i dont fall into that catagory either. I do ok on the exercise front i take dog out for 1 3/4hr in the morning and another 45mins at night as well as a couple of short (10mins) walks throughout the day. I think my prob is carbs i eat waaaay to many of them so have decided this week to try and cut down but not eliminate them and see if that makes any kind of difference (at this stage anything is worth a try) will let you know next week how i do.
Well done to all the losers am trying not to be too envious of all the loses but not managing very well:o. Heres to a good week for us all xx0 -
