Hello! Could I please join? I would like to loose a stone. Weighed myself this morning and am determined to get back on track. I quit smoking two months ago so need something to motivate me not to over eat.

I'm glad, I hate the thought of being on a diet so just try to make sure I eat sensibly and avoid eating the wrong things.

Yeah we dont really focus on diet on here we just keep each other posted & have random natters aswell - this is the part I like most!
I am having a wee DVD night with the hubby tbh I am having a naughty day I am going to get back on the ole wagon tomorrow - I swear one of these days I shall get to target weight!

Been MIA lately no reason really just been busy doing other things and then when I get on forums I start reading and another couple of hours have gone :rotfl:
Anyway I have lost a total of 13.5 lbs but I have stopped going to SW from last week as the money situation has got critical here and I need that £5 a week so I will be on here more to keep me motivated:) Already I am reverting back to old ways so I must focus and get back on track
Looking at my sig I have a lot to lose but its to get back into healthy BMI range as per doctor, but Im only a size 16-18 and sometimes I its too much, I dont want to be a stick:) and would feel better in myself at size 14, I dont think Im built to be smaller as I have quite large hands and size 8 feet, how do others feel??? Anyway onwards and upwards, Im having a tuna pasta bake for tea, not very slimming but as the money situation suggests Im having to eat out of the cupboards and freezer to save money, and there wont be any cheese on top and I know I will enjoy it:)
I too did some baking yesterday as I looked after my DGD overnight and she is sat on the settee eating a muffin as I type, but I will give the rest of them to her mum when I drop her off later and then Im not tempted:)
Anyway back to do some more lurking, good luck everyone

STS again, but no great shock really, given that I had a fairly naughty week. I have also now found out that I am having too many points and should have been reducing as I was loosing weight (which I completely forgot to do), so fingers crossed I can get this plateau sorted and have a weight loss of some kind next week.Starting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs

Weigh in was Monday and I only lost 2/8s or 4 ozs!!:o:( Never mind it was half term and I did eat a box of Malteasers at the cinema on Saturday.:eek: Trying real hard this week and am still doing those exercise dvs, nearly 6 weeks now!!:j:j Well done to all the losers:T0 -

Hi everyone
Just waiting to go to DGD's school to help with a project there. Not weighed in this week, but a friend of mine is trying to lose weight on his own and is doing really well so I am going round to his later to get weighed there (I dont own any scales) and we are going to do it together:)
I must admit Im abit nervous as I havent really been following any plan this week, I must get back to menu planning, Im still eating from the freezer and cupboards with some fresh veg buying, so I suppose I have no excuse, but I did bake some more muffins and DD's came up for pancakes last night, although I didnt have any!!! but I did eat some muffins:( I really need to have some sort of wake up call every now and then and I know I cant do this on my own so hopefully this weekly weigh in at my friends will work.
