2012 weight loss goals.................

Hi everyone:)
Day 1.
The weather might be scary but i had to walk into it for 15 minutes, uphill, i could hardly stay on my feet so i am classing it as my workout as my legs are now aching and it feels like i have been for a run:D
However on the not so positive side i forgot to have breakfast and only had half my sandwich at lunch. I guess its going to take time for my body to get used to eating daytime meals, especially breakfast.
Due to both munchie cravings and frustration with both, phone, computer and TV services i gave in and had a wispa:( i am not going to dwell on it though because that will make me feel worse and then i will just want more. I am just reminding myself that baby steps will still get me up that mountain.
I weighed myself this morning and found i actually weighed less than i did a month ago, only a few pounds less but made me feel good anyway but im still very very overweight.
In the red corner QueenB. is starting this fight weighing in at the mahoosive weight of ...........13st 5lb:eek: 3 stone to lose let round one begin:cool:
Good luck everyone, I hope you are all having a better day than me xxSuccess means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

hi all.
I have just walked to tesco for the 2nd time this week. I am determined to leave the car at home unless i REALLY need it. TEsco is only a 10min walk from my house and all i needed was a few potatoes and carrots.
Walking made me feel good too, blew the cobwebs away a bit as its SO windy!!0 -
Hi all,
Just done shopping - was going to walk but at only 4'9" I think would have knocked me over - good job I've got lots of ballast!!!
Going to make a couple of low fat meals in the slow cooker and freeze them so I've got standbys for when I can't be bothered. I thought I'd do a basic WW Bolognese without the basil and then I can split it and add basil to one half and Chilli Pdr and Kidney Beans to the other half.
Did well at breakfast but decided to eat the last bit of Brie and Wenslydale with crackers for lunch and a mince pie with cream - I just can't throw anything away and DS doesn't like them - anyway all cheese gone and only two mince pies left.
I think this week will be hard for most of us as we all got bits of left overs but with a bit of luck it'll all be gone by next week - I've just wrapped a box of chocs for a future birthday gift - I bought them so no problem with giving them back to giver.
I've filled a jug with a ltr of water and going to try and drink this everyday - this does seem to fill me up.
I know if I do WW properly the weight does fall off - so with everybodys help this time next year there will be a lot less of me!!
Just going to see if I can save some money on Hubbys car insurance that should keep me occupied for a couple of hours
See you all later and keep positive;)Lightbulb Moment - Jan 2005

hi ladies.
my oldest son goes back to school tomorrow, so i have been doing all my washing/ironing etc today, must have burnt off calories doing that right??
My younger son doesnt go back until Thursday, so i may drag him out for a walk to the park tomorrow to play footie, depends on the weather really.
Had my grill up for lunch and was going to do a fish pie for dinner, but not hungry and all the kids wanted was cocopops!0 -
Today is working out slightly healthier than yesterday. Has a slice of rye bread with ham and cheese for breakfast. I've had 2 glasses of water (REALLY bad I know but it's an improvement on yesterday when I had none). Pizza for dinner though but planning to have salad with it.0

Well the pizza and brownie:D I had for lunch weren't exactly slimming but I have spent all day walking around the Science and Natural History museums so have hopefully burned off those calories.
Spending tomorrow on the train back home and I will then have my own kitchen and gym etc and can really get started with my weight loss for the year.:j0 -
Evening all
First day back at work and it just feels like you've never been away.
I think I've done ok, but naughty me hasn't tracked anything.
I've had
yoghurt and granola for breakfast
banana bread snack
leftover corned beef and potato hash for lunch
crackers and houmous or snack
chestnut and bacon egg fried rice for dinner
Stressy day. My car was still playing up, and being a teacher is a pain when these little emergencies happen. Thankfully the Head gave me an early finish but now am already behind with work.
But I didn't overeat.Ninja Saving Turtle0
