Just weighed - 11st 5lbs - over a stone above my wedding weight (got married in feb 2011!).

I know I can lose weight with SW cos I did a few years ago, but as you can see I have put it nearly all on again. Oh well here I go again, BUT it will be for the last time I have to learn to love food, myself and not feel guilty when I have too many biscuits
So feeling very positive at the moment and had a lovely salmon stir fry for my tea and hopefully I will lose some lbs this week:)
I try to diet "one day at a time" but keep track of calories (and saturated fat) on a weekly basis as well as daily. After all, my "official weigh-ins" will be weekly. That then allows for the odd day of eating too much without feeling a total failure and giving up altogether.0 -
Morning everyone, its great to see so many new people on the thread!
M2MG- 4lbs isnt too bad. I normally put on about the same. and its n ot like its half a stone or anything, and this thread will help you lose it anyway!
Vixi- i would LOVE to be under 10st too, wasnt that long ago that i was! We'll get there!
Puss14- i am so sorry to hear about your parents illnesses.
Kazipoo- WEL DONE on your loss, that a great amount!!!!
Hi to everyone else!0 -
Hi everyone! I would like to join too please....I have about 18lbs to lose.
This is the 2nd day of my diet. I have already started walking 3 laps around my nearby park with my neighbour, which in total is 3 miles. We do this as many mornings as possible. On top of this I am planning to cycle (my bike is on a turbo trainer) about 30 minutes too.
My problem is no imagination when it comes to food, and I find I get bored, so you could really help me by telling me what do you lovelies eat?
Thankyou!0 -
Hi everyone. My 1st weigh in will be on Thursday at WW, but I'm starting my healthy eating and exercise today.
I have a 'walk with me' pedometer, the flashing light turns green when I hit my target steps, so I'm determined it will be green every day!!
Really looking forward to hearing everyone's weightloss successes, good luck!,New Year New You Challenge - 13.5lbs/10lbs
Spring Into Spring Challenge-2.5lbs/10lbs
Slimming World Total Loss - 2 stone 3lbs0 -
Hey everyone,
I am jumping back onboard the diet train!
Last year I lost two stone over the course of the year. Slowly but surely but I have many weeks of falling off the band wagon, so I feel its a success as I am obviously learning life long lessons when it comes to eating, and thats the important bit!
I started at the heaviest at 14 stone 4. Today I am 12 stone 4.
So thats 2 stone left to go till my 'goal' weight at Weightwatchers. Although I would like to get into the 9 stone bracket.
Need to get myself back to the meetings. I have been naughty and not been for several weeks at a time. Too many parties and weekendsaway int he latter half of lastyear and I go on a Sunday morning!
My plan for this year is.... exercise!
Target weight loss is 1lb per week... slowly but surely wins the race0 -
Hey everyone!
Hope your all well today.
I can see that some of us are feeling a bit down about weight gain over the festive period but try not to worry about it too much at the end of the day I think thats the time of year when most people are likely to gain a few lbs!
At least we are here trying to do something about it & we arent burying our heads in the sand.
This is going to be quite a long journey for all of us either way so slow & steady wins the race!!!
I am on day 2 & feeling quite good.
I did go over my Syns yesterday but for the first day back its still much better than just stuffing my face with anything & everything eh???
Well I hope you all have a good day - no doubt I'll be hanging around this site for the next couple of hours anyway - I think I am addicted to MSE!!
