There are calculators online that will keep you on track, just google ww points calculator uk and you should get a few options, I have got the old card pully thingy somewhere and I have seen it lately, but for the life of me, I don't know where :rotfl:.

I lost quite a bit last time I was on weight watchers, so I know the diet works for me. I already started on Tuesday, just because I didn't want to delay it any more and so far I am loving it.

Last night we had fajita's for tea, followed by sugar free jelly and light carnation....yummy!!!!

My mum is coming here for dinner today and bringing her SW books for me to look at. I am then going to decide between that and the old WW points system. Don't suppose I really need the digi calculator - I think I have the cardboard thing as well. Looked on ebay last night and the calcs were selling for £20+ - I wish I'd kept the old one now, but just slung it in the rubbish without thinking twice.
I know old ww works for me so it would make sense to stick with it really, but I'm going to look at my mum's sw stuff.

  • Hi everyone
Actually starting to look forward to this as I have got to that stage where I really can't face anymore chocolate, wine, big dinners etc!!. Have just finished last Baileys Chocolates - shouldn't really have eaten all of them but at least they have gone. Sorted out the biscuits and sending most back with hubby to take to work (he works away during week) but will be left with box of shortbread - so going to see if I can be disiplined and just have one a day as a treat!!!!!
DS and his girlfriend are moving into their own home in mid Jan so that will also take the pressure off - and should have more time to go to gym and plan my meals etc.
Out for a last meal tonight and a few drinks but I am going to try and have water every other drink so that I will wake up without the dreaded hangover and then I can get organised for 2012 so that my lovely little 6 week old grandson does not have a FAT Granny!!!!
Good Luck everyone and "Happy Thinner New Year"

  • Happy New Year everyone:beer:. Here's to a happy and healthy 2012 for us all.

I'm brushing off the online weight watchers I've been paying for and haven't been using anything like regularly enough, and considering fitness strategies. :DWell in the morning because I'm tired.
  • Hi Everyone and a Happy New Year,

I have weighed in this morning at 20st 6 1/2 lbs :o but I haven't put any on over Christmas :p

For January, I am going to lose a minimum 8 1/2 lbs by rejoining SW on Monday and walking for at least 30 mins each day as part of my exercise plan.

This is such an important year with regards to my health and also for my studies that I have to start looking after myself.

So by January 30th (last SW of month) I want to be 19st st 10 lbs.

    Good luck everyone
