I would love to join in, I aim to lose around 30lbs for June, but in the long run need to lose approx 80lbs, so look at an average of 1 - 2lb a week. I prefer to base my weight loss plan on the old weight watchers one, because I lost 50lb on that a few years back, but a combination of an uncontrolled underactive thyroid and stopping smoking 3 years ago sort of helped me to regain that and moreStarting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs

Hi everyone x
Well done to everyone that have joined thatsgood on you x
Can i please join in, i havent weighed yet but i know i've put on weight
I'm a wife and a mum of 3 aged 15, 14, and 10 and i always put on weight then lose it then put it on again but i always put it on through the winter months. After having my last son i joined slimming world and lost 5 st in 8 months i found it ok to do, i just find keeping it off harder. Then 1 1/2 years ago i lost my mum which i put nearly it all back no because i had a break down and i found out that i suffer from S.A.D which dont help. After this I did get back on track and lost it again and was really fit, i started running, boxing and zumba which i do love doing. This year through the winter months i have put some of the weight back on but is going to get back on track again when the children go back to school.
I will weigh when they go back to school and start my food plan and i will report it on there then
soryy about my spelling as i'm not vrey good at it x
good luck everyone :j
keep up the good work !!!!!broke my back doing glitching

New so apologies if it's wrong. Can I please join in?
I joined the gym a few weeks ago and began after a 12 year 'no exercise' hiatus (never liked PE in school) and determined to stick with it. This will be a great way to check in with how I'm doing.
I will edit as soon as I get my height/weight info.
Good luck everyone!

I'd like to join everyone on here please!
I did SW this year and got absolutely nowhere, although I do like the recipes they provide in their magazines (I subscribed to that for a year).
As I lost quite a bit with WW in 2005, I'm going to give that another go and will be joining again next week. I don't really do pounds, but I want to lose 12kg in 2012 (ideally by the end of June), so I have a modest goal of 2kg per month.
That translates to just under 2 stone in a year and about 4.5lb per month, so around 1lb per week.
Just going to get through the New Year without worrying about things and will start on the wagon on 3 Jan, when I'm working again and children are back at school. I may even dig out my 30 day shred DVD again!
Good luck everyone!!0
