Can I join in please?
I have already lost 32lbs in the last 6 months and I would really like to lose another 1 - 2 stone. I don't have a target date really but I would like to lose at least 7lbs by the 26th February as it is our sons 1st birthday and christening that weekend and I really would like to be able to wear something nice and feel good about myself.
I think aiming to lose 5lbs each month is doable so I think I may join you in that challenge if thats ok?One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Hi all...Im new to this part of the forum (im usually lurking round the comp boards lol) but Im re-joining Slimming World on the 5th Jan, so thought I would come here for motivation!
I have a lot to lose, so am looking to lose 3lb a week.

Welcome aboard all new joiners! Yesterday was first day back at work- I work for a 'large department store' yesterday was first day of sales ahhh that was sadly enough to lead me to eat a chocolate snowman when I get home (head first!) Oh dear. Back on the Weetabix though this morning and packed some healthy soup for my lunch at work. So I have decided that my issue is evening. Has anyone got any good strategies for post dinner munchies in the evening?

I had my slimming world group weigh in last nite and was delighted to find I had lost 1.5lbs!
So that's 3 stone 13.5lbs... Just a half off my 4 stone award
And 2 stone 3.5lbs from target!0 -

Teacher2b- i have the same problem, evening munchies. I can be really good all day, but once the kids are in bed in the evening, thats my main problem time! What i tend to do is score my hunger out of 10. 0 being not at all hungry, and 10 being ravenous! If i score my hunger at less than 8 i dont bother snacking.
Works sometimes, doesnt work other times...but its worth giving it a go!
I also make sure i have a hot choc on standby if the choc cravings get too bad.
If all else fails, i just go to bed and hide under the covers!

I want to lose 3 stone over the whole year, but im looking to lose 20lbs by the middle of april. Reckon its possible if i change my mind set and start getting strict with myself!!!!!!

Hello everyone can I join you all?
I have decided that 2012 is going to be my year for getting healthy and feeling better about myself. I've followed SW a couple of times and I've gotten good results each time however, I just cannot stick to it!
So I am going to start eating healthily (more fruit and veg) and limiting the high fat/junk. I want to include exercise too - I have a variety of DVDs and a Wii so no excuse really - I just find it hard to keep motivated. I need a buddy to spur me on - you guys just fit the bill
I haven't dared weigh myself yet but I think I'm around 11 1/2 stone and I'd like to be back down to 10 st. Not really bothered about how long it takes me being fitter and healthier is my goal losing the weight will be a fabulous bonus!
