One extra little job - sort out all the containers in the kitchen and dump the ones without lids or have lids but no bases!

Good one! I have lots of those lurking in the cupboard, hoping that one day I will find its partner..

Im so mad with myself - decided to start painting the ceiling, did half of it (who artexes (sp) a cupboard ceiling????) went to step off the toilet (ok, i know now!!!) and it shattered - def no way of repairing it so will have to buy a new one tomorrow.

catowen your toilet might be covered under home insurance. My BIL broke their sink a few yrs back (twas pampas green suite _pale_ ) and they couldn't get just a replacement sink in the same colour. Insurnace paid to replace the lot.

Oh, i'm guilty of this one! I remember when i was much younger and still living at home. I used to smoke out of our bathroom window, which involved me standing on the toilet (can you see where this is going?). One day, i was having my sneaky fag when the toilet lid shattered and I went head a*se over teat, one foot down the toilet, fag burning a hole in the carpet.

Suffice to say, i was not popular!

and I thought smoking stunted your growth! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • okay - to those mums with kids who have had birth problems don't despair. my mum & dad only got me after 28 hours labour 4 of which were in fetal distress  i got excellant scores at school although having slight undiagnosed dyselxia and went to a top university. basically if your kids are able and work hard regardless of their disability they will get were they want:j

    Bed made
    Kitchen bench wiped
    DW[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Will have the boys do all the things in their bedrooms that I haven't gotten done over the past couple of days[/STRIKE]

Now I'm off to [STRIKE]work with DH for the morning[/STRIKE]. Then this afternoon picking up new couch for my sister and delivering it to her place. I can imagine after that I'll be couching out in front of the TV. Well, we DO have to take a break sometime, don't we

Adding this to my weekend list:

    [STRIKE]Friday[/STRIKE]Sunday - Master Bedroom

    1. Change bedding
    2. Hoover
    3. Dust
[STRIKE]4. Declutter (make sure all clothes are in wardrobes or drawers and tidy bedside cabinets)[/STRIKE]
    5. Clean inside of window
    6. Clean windowsill
[STRIKE]7. Check underwear drawers for anything that really needs getting rid of![/STRIKE]
    8. Check nets, blinds for washing, cleaning if needed.
    9. Sort computer desk if yours is in the bedroom. - It's not.

Remember to do uniforms and any clothes needed for Monday.

    Daily and nightime routines

One extra little job - sort out all the containers in the kitchen and dump the ones without lids or have lids but no bases! - Shouldn't take too long!

Catowen try B&Q or similar, when my DP smashed ours (slipped with hammer) I managed to just get a replacement bowl which was under £20. B&Q didn't have one on shelf so got it from Archibalds but they did do them.

Well as you can see by the time, I'm up, because I dozed off when putting the boys to bed :o just came down a little while ago and have had to switch the chilli off (slow cooker left on) clean up after puppy, floors, wash tea time dishes, sort washer etc etc. Did the beds, dusting and stuff when I went upstairs. I hate it when I doze off when there is stuff to be done, but it was so comfy. I'm considering just staying up, DP will be in in about an hour or so. Oh and I woke up laid on the TV remote, don't know how it got there, probably a small person put it there.

Best add this to the weekend

    Dailies
[strike]Sort kitchen containers (I find it best to keep in a bag for a week incase lids appear before flinging)
Pot chilli up once cooled and clean SC[/strike]
    Clear desk and file paperwork!
[STRIKE]Clean fish tank out so can get new fish
Sort hall cupboard (just been hit by something when I opened it today)
Clean condenser on TD thoroughly [/STRIKE]
    Sort underwear basket
Make bread and cake, maybe some cookies aswell
    1 Hour study time
Night time routine (inc bath boys and put to bed)
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • I sorted my kitchen containers and lids out a little while ago and decided to put all the lids in a small plastic basket in the cupboard. That way they don't slide all over the place (generally the floor!) and it is really easy to find one that matches the container now.
