    Hi everyone,

finally got to catch up with the day's news. DD has friend over. I'm not sure what time they finally got to sleep. but they didn't wake up until just before 1pm!

So, I started on the master bedroom, guessing that was on the list for today. Bedlinen done, and some sorting and paperwork which was lurking in the corners. I hoovered in there yesterday. I'm tired and not feeling very motivated today, so I shall have to try and find something easy to do, but which will make me feel like I've achieved something! Well. I have typed the agenda for a meeting next week, and emailed it out, and also written an email to a friend which has been waiting for a couple of weeks.

DD and friend want lift to town - mmm, tempted to join them and nip into Boots for a treat. ;)

    Afternoon flyer-babes! :hello:

I stayed off the pc yesterday cause of my shoulder and it seems much better today, so that's why I didn't post yesterday, but I did check moggins list this morning and decided instead of lurking about on here just to go straight to it, and it worked, I've done loads AND it only took me a couple of hours and that's with coffee breaks!

    Done

The entire moggins list for today. (todays)
    All my dailies
    Hot=spotted in various rooms
    hoovered throughout the house
Had a very hot bath and pampered myself
been on a visit to OH and had a good natter
    put rubbish in outside bin
sorted out a couple of books for DD#1 to read
    loaded dishwasher/swish and swipe kitchen
    cleaned cloakroom toilet/sink

    still to do

    Make tea
    put WM on (uniforms)

and that's it! me done for the day, I feel so much more positive today and the house reflects that now, didn't do much yesterday as I felt very down and it's amazing how doing nothing for just one day makes the house a minging mess, goodness knows how it used to look when I didn't do much for a week  I'm embarrassed just typing that, my OH thinks I've turned into Hyacinth Bucket, I follow everyone around with a cloth and the hoover :rotfl: :o

Gosh I do ramble on  hope everyone's ok, not much time to read through the posts I've missed yet as gotta dash off to do school run, will check back in later, take care lovelies! x

Back from school.. that's me done for the week!!

Just got them picking up the last few bits in the backroom and the whole floor can be vacuumed at least!! Then I'm going to give them their heaps of washing to put away and I'm done for the day too.. The children however have mess on the landings and in their rooms to pick up.

I may have to resort to listing stuff on ebay lol.. I have some playstation games a sling and a few other bits. I've just posted the last 2 parcels and a catalogue return.

Cuppa time I think.. my ear is really hurting now I've been out in the freezingness.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
bj-sailaway - I work fulltime normally (snow meant early start to my halfterm) and usually I'm catching up all weekend! Only DH and me at home now, so all those years of blaming the kids for keeping the house messy I was clearly wrong! Having both been teachers (DH now semi-retired) we both hoard for England. So please, don't let my success this week make you feel downhearted - it's never happened before and if you're the taxi service for the kids you have far more on your plate than I do these days!

Do any of you manage to achieve all this and work full-time, and run 2 teenagers to all their evening activities?!

PLEASE let me know how you fit it all in if you do.

Feeling a bit of a failure compared to alot of you guys.

Hey, I'm a stay at home mum with two kids and I struggle! You're a goddess :D

Well, it's been snowing non-stop since before lunch and any gaps left in the garden from snowman making yesterday have been filled in. Here's the view from the master bedroom about an hour ago....

I've done all of moggins list :j and I also made HM vegetable soup for lunch with PLENTY of leftovers. I also made Delia's Normandy Pork with cider which I am telling you is lush!

DH is on his way home so time for a quick run round with the hoover and a swipe of the kitchen. It's always the things he sees that matter, no mind I've been wiping the skirting boards. Can't he tell? ;)

Have also hoovered lounge, WM x2, ironed school uniform for next week, and I am in the middle of making bread with DD2 it's our first attempt so fingers crossed as she's very keen to eat it! Will report back later
It worked, so we have been munching on bread with strawberry jam this afternoon.
Will need to catch up later, OH bringing fish suppers in with him so instead of making tea I will finish the bedroom, how i have managed to collect so many paperbacks I don't know, never mind i have a bag for the charity shop and i am away to 27 fling and then the room may look okay.

I am also a stay at home mum and am in awe of those who work full time and manage to keep on top of the housework, when working I blamed that now I blame the kids!
