Adventures with bread dough

Can you freeze dough ? Or keep it in the fridge for a couple of days ??
No problems with either. I usually have dough in the freezer to make a quick pizza if the family come over.
I also have some brioche dough in the freezer, waiting to be cooked.
I have kept it in the fridge for a week, but just plain dough - tends to start to taste a bit like sour dough bread - just make sure you leave it to prove for long enough, so that it gets to warm up. I am a bit wary of keeping enriched dough (with egg etc in for more that 2/3 days).0 -
Oh that would be better, keep it in the fridge for 2 days then we can have fresh rolls every morning. Is a pity that after all this fuss, they came out like dog biscuits eh? LOL0

refrigerating dough has other advantages too
if you're really organised & can refrigerate your pizza dough for at least 24 hours, you'll find the dough shapes more easily without any of the usual 'springback' you get with freshly-made0 -
