Adventures with bread dough

Well I used the Delia white loaf recipe to make one 1lb loaf and the rest I rolled out flat, spread with melted marge, sprinkled with sugar, cinnamon, raisins and then rolled up and cut into rounds (like thritflady suggests as bread whirls).
OH didn't believe I made them, he thought I'd bought them
Thanks thriftlady - though my waistline may not be thanking you later working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

Yeah but I thought chelsea buns had a slightly different dough recipe than normal bread? Thought it was sweeter and softer than the ones I've made?
Yup proper chelsea buns definitely have a different dough recipe http://www.hovisflour.co.uk/recipe/showrec10.htm working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 http://www.hovisflour.co.uk/recipe/showrec10.htm working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

 Sorry that's not helpful:rotfl:
Just googled and found a butter converter
it suggests 4 tbspns would be 56.7 grammes, or half = 28.35g. Does that help? I keep my butter at room temp, so it is easy enough to measure using a spoon (if you keep it in the fridge, i assume that's what's making you wonder?!)
Let us know how you get on.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
