  • Evening.

No white fluff here, but it is so cold and its supposed to be all weekend, my plans are to go nowhere.

This week spends have been £52 on an Asda shop and £15 on petrol. Today has been a NSD and i've been really good all week and taken lunch to work everyday:D.

Have checked bank account and have 89p to last until the 29th:eek:, have £1.12 to come from quidco and bids of £4ish on ebay, also managed to bag some clothes up for the cash for clothes place, hopefully I will be able to scrape together enough for a small shop next week to see us through until te 29th, OH is going to put some more petrol in the car.

Plans for the wekend are to spend some time with the kids, movie afternoon tomorrow, will also do some baking with DD whilst DS is at football.

Hope everyone thats got snow is managing ok and keeping warm.
  • Hi Penny, your weekend sounds spookily like mine :-)

Cabin up, bake and play with the kids and if I have any time to spare watch some old-fashioned black and white movies X

Hope you manage to last to the 29th..... I so know where you are coming from. Things are not too rosy in the Land of Enchantment either :-(

Ahhhhhh well, let's stick together..... All for one and one for all...... Xxx

  • Morning enchanted, hope your enjoying a lazy day.

NO SNOW, kids are gutted. I'm not.

Not much has been done so far this morning, got as far as showered and dressed.

DH took DS to fotball to find it had been cancelled, so DH has gone to get his hair cut and taken DS with him.

Oh I have also listed another item on ebay and have worked out how to do it on my phone, its so easy don't know why i didn't try before, had taken the photo last night and listed it whilst sat in bed with a cuppa this morning, couldn't get any better.

Plans for today is to make soup and cake, catch up on washing, keep warm and watch lots of carp on TV.

Hope everyone is ok and having a fun weekend.
  • Hi there Penny :-)

Yes, it's rather a lazy day around these parts too...... Loving your idea of a cup of tea in bed whilst adding eBay listings...... Must try that one too!

I've been painting Christmas pictures with Princess and am about to play a Hobbit Strategy Game with Munchkin, so things are going ok in the Land of Enchantment...... So Far..... Ha ha x

I'm still constantly thinking over how to move forward debt wise..... I have even downloaded some free apps on my phone to manage finances.... But, I think I might delete them. I actually prefer good old fashioned pen and paper :-). I want to make a 12 month, day by day grid with predictions and forecasts ..... And actual..... So I can see where the difference is occurring. All in pretty colours, of course :-). Let's see if I get the time?

Hope you are enjoying your 'cabin up' day and if there is anything interesting on tv please let me know...... It's pretty dire at the mo!

  • Hi enchanted, I'm currently wrapped up in a fleece blanket with DD suffering 'icarly' AGAIN, its on demand I did want to watch a nice film but DD wanted to watch this so i mooching on here whilst sat with her.

DH has gone with DS to his mums and I've sent him with the bag of cash for clothes that i'd bagged up as he passes the place on hisway, fingers crossed he gets a few quid.

Soup and cake is made and i've put 3rd lot of washing on.
  • Wow, you deserve the rest after soup, cake and washing x

Yes, I'm a victim of icarly too some days..... "It's just so wonderful" lol.

Enjoy kicking back Missus! I'm about to make a flapjack cake as it went down a treat last week :-)

  • DH has arrived home, turns out the £1 a kilo at cash for clothes is for brand new items with tags and they pay 50p kilo for other clothing, so netted £4 for my bag of clothes which is better than nothing, but do people really take new clothes with tags there, surely you would be better off ebaying them .
