PWD - thankyou thats sweet regarding the oil. Not beating myself up about the washer, these things happen and withhubby working in farming its one of those things that I just have to have and can't do without.
8 out 11 surveys completed.0 -
Been through all the wardrobes and drawers and now have abinbag of clothes for the cash for clothes place, no idea how much I wil get but will send hubby with them on saturday.
Also the survey thing is so a can keep a tally of how many I am managing to completeand it seems to be over half which is good.0 -
Morning Pennywise,
Boooo to the washer, glad your not getting too down about it though as it is essential.
Will the oil you have last you until payday? Good plan to only use the minimum and use the wood burner.
Hope work isnt too painful today xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy,
Hubby could order the oil as we have 28 days to pay for it but we have set ourselves a mini challenge to see how long we can make it last, hubby has recently become very onboard to moneysaving, which is fantastic.
Good day at work and have had another NSD.
Surveys yesterday totalled 10/13, not bad. Havn't done any yet today, so need to get on with them.
Tea tonight is beef cobbler, rst pots and veg, made the cobbler yesterday and HM rice pud for dessert.
No other news.0 -
Dinner sounds lovely, we're having homemade spicy meatballs and spaghetti
It's good that DH is onboard with the moneysaving as it all helps.
Well done with the survey's, as much as I try I just don't have time to do them at the moment.0 -
Evening 2nd day at work and it seems ok, kids are on good form, think it helps that its a short term and we only have 5 weeks now until half term (yes I am counting down already:D).
Today has been a NSD, tomorrow won't be as i need to do a food shop:(.
Have done all surveys sent to me today, manage to complete 5 out of 8, got screened out of the 3 not completed, still not near any pay outs on any of them though, think Jan is going to be a slow month.
CH is still off, wood burner roaring, does feel a little nippy though upstairs and we had frost this morning., but will be strong and resist the urge to push that little switch.
Hope everyone is ok.0 -
It went cold up here this morning too Penny, haven't put the woodburner on today but the delongi thing is on upstairs to warm the kids rooms, daren't look at the energy monitor:eek:.
Got a plumber coming to look round for a quote tomorrow, have a horrible feeling we'll have to replace and stick with oil as changing to gas will be more costly in the immediate term:mad:.
At £38.35 with onepoll and praying for the £co money soon. At least i can warm up at work tomorrow with my skintight trousers - oh God what if they rip???Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs
