£12 New look shoes for DD for school.
£14 in primark sale - jeans and 2 pairs joggers for DS and pair ballet shoes for me:D bargain.
£20 mcdonalds:o for 4 of us, we did get free pud for us all as they took so long to bring us 2 of the burgers:D.

Have recieved £3 from mysurv£y, so will add to sig.

Spending the rest of the day pottering around the house and doing general housework things.

    Hi Penny

A belated Happy Christmas to you xx

Can I join in the £2013 challenge please? My DD managed to lose my spreadsheet which was totalling up the £2012 challenge, I'm not sure how much I made but it wasn't £2012!

My DD loves the Monster High dolls as well, goodness knows why as they are the ugliest things!

Have a good new year xxx

Hi pwps, sorry for any confusion, the 'new diary day' I was referring to is our new spending/budget diaries. I've got mine ready, just hope the figure I've got for the balance is the same as the bank, they are a bit behind with the bank holiday etc and it looks like I have more money than I know I have....oops!!

Can't get any sense out of them when you call, get told a different thing everytime. Anybody looking to go with them dont they are a bunch of useless Muppet

    Ok rant over.

Need to have a look where i am moneywise. Did a Tesco shop on sun which came to $55 (sorry no pound sign).

  • Hi PWPS

Sorry you have no broadband or BT Vision - hope they get it sorted before the 2 weeks.

I have updated my spreadsheet for the £2012 in 2012 and I managed to make £703.77.

I did this with surveys (various companies), Swagbucks, Ebay, Amazon, second job (but only very casual) and mystery shopping/audits.

I know I didn't make the challenge but it feels good to have logged it all.

Next year I wil try harder and also keep the suvey vouchers for xmas and birthdays and not use them for household things like ink cartridges.

It was so lovely to pay for some Xmas presents with Amazon vouchers.

Thanks for setting up the challenge
  • Thanks mummy.

Hi EE, thankyou for joining me on the challenge and all the other peeps that also joined in, beng able to see howmuch extra that can bemade has really spurred me on over the year.

Wel broadband has come back on this morning so feel like my arms have been re attached, can't believe hw much I miss the internet when I havn't got access to it, My name is PWPS and i'm and internet addict.

On the money front, no change, nipped into sainsbugs and spent £7 of a gift voucher i had on bread milk and fruit.

Visited afriend last night that I had'nt had time to catch up with over christmas, had a nice chatty night and didn't cost any thing as she cooked a rissotto and I took wine we had left over from chrstmas, feeling rough this morning though.

    Plans for today are......

    Housework
    washing and ironing.
    catch up on surveys.

Easy tea tonight of kievs, wedges and veg, pud will be biscuits/chocs from christmas.
