  • Someone will turn up that wants to rent, just the waiting that's a pain.
Would it have potential as a holiday let with half term not far away?
I'll take my nose out now:rotfl:!

How are you doing survey wise? I've got pure profile at £23, so praying for a couple of surveys to get to payout.

  • Hi PWD, no please don't say that its good to have someone elses opinion.

Would you believe it after all my moaning someone has been to look around the house today and according to the letting agency is quite interested, so fingers crossed.

I'm at £22 with pure profile and guess what the surveys have suddenly slowed down or i'm screened out of the few I do get.

Waiting for a Mr T order to arrive should come in around £50, also put petrol in today, only £12 as OH is planning on filling it up when he gets paid on Friday.
  • Fingers crossed for the house viewing pennywise xx

  • Thanks mummy.

The lady was very interested that looked around and has taken forms away to fill in, so fingers crossed.

On the money front I have recieved £4.50 in clubcard vouchers today and £3 from mysurvey.

Have listed another item on ebay which already has a bid only 99p but its better than nothing.

    No other news.
  • Afternoon, having a quick catch up of diaries whilst watching th Rugby.

Our rental property has had another wiewing today, this time a family that have to be out of there current rental property in 6 weeks, so fingers crossed things are starting to pikup and it will be taken soon.

Another item listed on ebay, found 2 more items to list will do it tomorrow.

Had to go into town today as DH needed a cheque paying in, was very good and parked on a housing estate out of town and walked in (10 min walk) so saved on car parking, only thing I bought was a pack of 2 toothbrushes for the kids from home bargains for £1.10, I also walked past the market and couldn't believe how cheap the fruit and veg was, this is something I need to think about and organize myself so I can visit the market at the weekend.

Feeling very skint and have enough to cover bills that need to out and thats it, could do with some decent survey payouts.

Sausage pasta bake for tea tonight and have taken a chicken out of the freezer for tomorrow's tea.

Hope everyones having a good weekend.

  • Not posted for a few days, think its because if its not written down in front of me its not real, but if i keep all my worries bottled inside I become anxious and snappy, I get a feeling that overwhelms me and I don't know which way to turn.

I feel that I'm trying so hard to win the war against our debt but everytime something positive happens then some bigger comes along to wipe it out.

Sorry I think this post is going to be a ramble.................

I'm trying really hard to keep on top of the surveys and have withdrawn a £10 amaz*n voucher this week, this will be used to by a present for DD friend as she has a party to go to next week, I have chosen 3 items all with free delivery and put them in my basket and i'm going to ask DD which Item she would like to get.

I've made £12.50 on ebay this week, this has been used for food shopping.

Spends for the rest of the week will be 50p each for the children tomorrow and £1 each on Friday for mufti day, I have this in change in my purse.

By the end of this week I need to have paid barc card, Tidied upstairs cupboards, dropped a letter into OH accountants, chased up agents regarding potential tenents and referencies.

Food shop has come in at £53 this week, I have noticed a difference since I have changed from tesco/sainsburys to Asda and I'm really trying hard to stick to a weekly £60 budget.
Its tough but its somethng we have to do.

I'm trying as hard as I can to not let the situation impact the children too much, it was hard the other day when DD was asking about holidays and I said we won't be going anywhere this year, i felt awful and so guilty. I know lots of children don't get to go on holidays, I just feel that they are growing up so fast and that its such a precious time together as a family.

OK I will stop whinging now and go and do something constructive.

Hugs Penny love, I know just how you feel. My budget has been knackered by my son's school trip letter, £500 plus new passport, daughter has two trips and three revision guides, another £70 to find, the joys of teenagers

Just remembered...there is a new shop in my home town next to Subw@y which has similar stuff to ApprovedFood (short dated but lots of it branded) really good and great value, might be worth a look if you are ever in the area x
