  • HI EE, our daughters are the same age my DD is coming up 10, her costume is age 8-9 yrs. My DD isn't allowed to wear a tanktini either. Thanks for the offer though.
As for the surveys, not sure where the motivation comes from, do try tp think about being debt free and going on holiday,.

Thanks mummy, Our Tesco doesn't do clothes but will have a look in Asda.

Lazy day at home, washing, ironing and general housework done.
    Kids have done Homework.

Have made another £7 on ebay.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
  • Can't believe what a wet, horrid day it is today, rain hasn't stopped all day.

Made another ebay sale £16 on a BIN, means I could go and get a bit of shopping to see us through until Wednesday.

£22.30 spent in Sainsbugs, going to Farmfoods on Wednesday will fill the freezer.

Better brave the weather and pick kids up from school.
  • £4 pinec*ne payment recieved:).
  • Morning, not really sure where the week has gone.

Been flat out at work and by the time i've got home done some housework, sorted kids out and caught up on surveys i've been to shattered to log on MSE.

Works been busy but good and things seem settled at the minute.

Children are happy and enjoying school, DS has joined another club at school which means a bit more running about fot me, but i'm pleased he's a sociable child that enjoys doing things and being around people, Really believe this is important for children as it will give him confidence to get out there as an adult and do things, I wasn't a confident child and wasn't encouraged to do things and i'm sure it has hindered me as an adult as I lack confidence n trying new things and meeting new people.

CB was paid this week and it was Pay day on thursday so it turned into a spendy week, didnt get to farm foods ended up going to Asda as DD needed a swimming costume, managed to spend £85 there but this did include 2 birthday presents. also spent £35 in Tesco, split into 2 lots of shopping as i had 2 £3 off £20 spend vouchers, stocked up on washing powder and toilet rolls. Have also spent £35 on petrol.

Also recieved some money £20 from ebay, £5 amazon voucher and £10 sainsbugs voucher.

Out tonight for a few drinks with friends, being good and wearing an outfit i already had even though I saw a lovely pair of jeans that I really wanted and I'm still thinking about but keep telling myself even though they are only £18, its £18 better spent elsewhere.

Hope everyones having a relaxing weekend. take care.
  • Had a great night out and spent yesterday recovering, but it was worth it.

Made £13 on ebay yesterday, keeping going with surveys but i'm not near payout on any at the minute. Have a couple of items to put on ebay only 99p bits but need to get them listed.

Spent £4.20 today on this weeks school dinners, should be no other spends today.

Rst chicken for tea tonight with rst tatties and veg, need to bake a cake for packed lunches, probably a chocolate cake.

    Hope everyone reading is well.
  • Won a £2 GFK voucher, redeemed for amazon voucher.

Have ordered DD an art set for her birthday, using amazon vouchers from surveys:j.
  • Morning Pennywise,

Glad you had a good night out, sometimes you just need a little something like that dont you!!

You are sounding very organised and on top of things at the moment, keep it up xx

  • Hi mummy, thanks for popping by, really not feeling organised at all, I actually feel really overwhelmed with everything at the minute and feelas though its a real slog to stay afloat, house stil isn't rented out and this is starting to get me down, have it up for rent at a competitive price, but doesn't look like any in the area are moving to be honest, may drop theprice a little more and see how it goes then, hopefully spring time will get people wanting to move, the extra income would just help so much.

Today has been a NSD, which is good news, although tomorrow won't be as we could do with some food shopping.

Trying hard to keep warm with free wood and not have the CH on too much, really hard though as it is really cold in the north at the minute.

Better go put tea on, lasagne tonight.
  • Hi Penny, what do the estate agents advise about rent price / market demand?
Would you consider selling it? Just a thought, clear all the debt? Don't know what the market is like for you but from an accountant's viewpoint i would look at the options if you sold, cleared the debt and bought a viable buy to let property that you could sell in the future if / when things changed.
Have you tried globrix for advertising, they seem pretty good to me.
Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs
    One Poll: £3.20
    My Survey: £0.00
    Ebay: £0.00
  • Hi PWD, letting company is very good, but have said to us its the time of year and that its very slow. We did think of selling, but there are houses in the same area that have not sold in 18 mths, we had the house valued and even if we did sell it there would be enough to just about pay off debts, but not enough to buy another property and we need to have a property to fall back on if anything was to happen with OH job.

We will just have to carry on scrimping for now, doesn't help that we have just had xmas, DH has paid his tax bill and we have 3 big birthdays in Feb, roll on march.
