  • Morning/ afternoon/evening or whatever the h£ll it is, i feel like a zombie.

DH got back with dog yesterday evening, turned out it was more than a little cut (didn't tell me as he knew i would panic) she had ripped most of the flesh quite deeply on the inside of her leg/groin area:eek:, had to be put under anesthetic at the vets and has had quite a lot of internal and external stitches and has had tubes put in to drain any fluid build up, poor dog is on a concotion of tablets and having to wear a lampshade thing round her neck to stop her pulling out stitches:(.

So the older dog spent most of the night whining due to being uncomfortable/ groggy and away from her best mate as me had to seperate her from younger dog as she would pull the stitches out for her, so younger dog spent all night barking and whimpering for her mate, gave in at 3am and brought younger dog into bedroom, she promptly fell fast asleep on the bottom of the bed, i finally fell asleep as both dogs went quite to be woken up around 4am by DD being sick:(, got back up sorted her out bless her, so i now have a poorly sick child and dog, nobody in the house is dressed, except poor OH who had to go to work at 5am, i think its going to be a pyjama day, only thing that i've managed to get done so far is put WM and DW on.

PWD- oh god to your mother, but as you know mine is the same, we still havn't spoken since our last major bust up, but i actually don't feel sad about it and feel like i have less burden/ worry now, hope that makes sense and doesn't sound to hard faced.

    Right off to drink coffee.
  • Oh Penny that sounds really nasty for the dog, hopefully tonight will be better, or is it time to hit the booze and knock yourself out!

Hope DD is feeling better and DS doesn't catch it, hate sick, yuck yuck yuck.

No you don't sound hard faced about your mum, it's self preservation and with me wondering why she is such a b*tch, as long as we try not to be horrible to our children we are breaking the cycle.

Enjoy your coffee, flaming mysurvey has just kicked me out and i was close to a £3 payout, grrr.
Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

  • Morning PWD thanks for popping by, think i will be spending most of today on mse, can't muster up the energy to do anything, DS had the bug just before xmas, it will be me that gets it next.

Surveys are driving me nuts at the minute, been chucked off most of the ones i've recieved this week and there hasn't been many.
  • Managed to have a shower and get dressed so feeling a little more human, have pulled out some bacon pieces and spinach from freezer and will make a quiche later, will have jkts and beans with it.

WM is on again and have managed to find a couple of things to list on ebay, just need the energy to do it now.
  • 3 Items listed on ebay and i've managed to find a couple more bits to go on.

Shopping list has been written for tomorrow, hopefully DD will be well enough to venture out.
  • Oh no to the sick DD and dog Pennywise. Has DD been ok since, cant be doing with sick!!
Glad your feeling more human like after your shower etc xx
    Mummytogirls x

  • DD not been sick again since first thing, but has headache a sky high temperature, just had to ring OH to buy more calpol on way home from work.
  • Sorry to hear that DD is poorly and the doggie too!

I think it was a good excuse to get started on the challenge by listing on ebay :rotfl:

I have updated my surveys list and some are at payout so will do this on 1/1 :rotfl:

Am thinking I need a spreadsheet to keep track of what I make - ooh I love a good spreadsheet :j
  • Hi EE well done on updating surveys, your very patient waiting until the 1st.

DD slept straight through and has just woken up (so did the dog):D, DD seems a bit brighter but still has a high temp, i always think the evenings are worse with them.

Wages have gone into bank and child ben, wasn't expecting child ben until next week, had forgotten Tueday is a bank holiday so that was a nice surprise and my bank balance looks healthy for a short period of time.

Will go shopping today, lid! first then sainsbugs, don't need a huge amount, might have a look on sainsbugs website and see whats on offer, tins and dried goods are running low, but i like to stock up on these when i'm sent money off shops vouchers from sainsbugs, of course they havn't sent me any recently:mad:.

    Will update on spends later.

I don't think Tuesday 3rd Jan is a bank holiday as I am due back at work - unless they have diddled me out of a day off.

My DC's do not go back to school until Weds 4th.

Hope you don't spend too much shopping!!!
