Candy loves Stella n tried to lick the empty bottles:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
when we first bought him home at 7 1/2 weeks the first thing he did was knock over OH's Carlsberg can and drink the contents! i thought i'd broken him already! But now if i've a glass of wine i have to let him have a little in his bowl too, otherwise he gets in a huff and he's no fun to be around :rotfl:Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Jackie G - you and yours have been in my thoughts all day xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Molly that's a brilliant website!:D I've bookmarked it. Don't worry, I will still post, I just didn't want to lumber everyone with how I've been feeling today, when so many have far more important stuff going on at the moment.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Your important stuff is JUST as important as everyone else's LameWolf, don't you dare let me hear you say that again! xxxIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

It's been snowing off and on most of the day but hasn't settled thank goodness and the roads are clear.
Went down to the library this morning and then to Tesco on the way back. It was packed. Managed to get a piece of beef for Boxing day-not too expensive as it was on offer .
I've got milk for Christmas but the cream had a use by date of the 26th so will try again on Monday as would like it to keep a bit longer. Am hoping that by Monday there will be enough room in the freezer for a couple of loaves and then I won't need to go to the supermarket again until after Christmas.
Salmon (on offer a couple of weeks ago) for dinner. Am finding this new "no meat on Friday " rule for Catholics quite difficult.I like shellfish but am not keen on a lot of fish. I went out to dinner with friends last week and ended up having prawns followed by prawns as didn't fancy any of the veggie options.0 -
Evening all
JackieG - Was thinking of you today, glad to see on FB that Pat had a nice send off x
Dazi - good to hear that you haven't given in to the fags! Hope you are doing ok x
Esmf - Lapland sounds awesome!!
MMM - congrats on the job!
LW - keep posting cos I'll be asking questions about the nut roast making next wk!
I'm back from the Residential trip, and have to say the works kids were awesome! TBH they were only a small group but they were so well behaved. They cooked lovely meals (spag bol, curry and chilli, plus full breakfast everyday
), no messing around in the nights, all in bed by 10.30pm! Weather was bad though, wet and windy plus very cold! But we all enjoyed. And I came home with some food too - onions, garlic, rice and cereal
I was meant to be off work this afternoon as lieu time but I had to go meet some young people to come on my programme in the New Year. Luckily I met 4 lovely kids who I have signed up. Oh and I also got to see the beautiful snow capped mountains too
, no snow here though.
On the home front, I viewed a lovely 2 bed house on Weds when I came back for uni. I rung people today and have asked if they will consider a £50/mth rent reduction if I sign for 12mths not 6mths, and explained I was looking for long term 2-3 year home. Hopefully this will sway them, but she said she obviously needed to speak to her husband so will get back to me on weekend. So fingers crossed please all. I did see one flat today that was nice, but had no outside space. But it could be a contendor if the other 1 falls through.
My new laptop came Weds but the delivery people left it with my neighbour who was out when I came back. Hopefully they will be home soon so I can play with it! :rotfl:
OS wise - need to put away laundry, unpack from Resi, put WM on.
Have a good evening all
