Has anyone had any problems trying to set up an account with Noddle.

I have tried twice today to set up an account with them and was informed (after giving in card details) that I would be sent a pin which would confirm my registration with them and that this would be sent via
    e mail.

I have not received any pin no from them and I am now starting to get worried because they have my card details. I am hoping this is just a technical glitch but I cant help worrying

    Thanks
    Emmjess
  • i just filled out the details it said:

Sorry, we haven’t been able to verify and validate your identity and can’t provide your credit report.

We’re sorry but unfortunately we’re not able to provide you with access to your credit report as we’ve not been able to automatically verify and validate your identity. As your credit report contains such personal and important financial information we need to make sure that we only make it available to the right person.

We're unable to tell you the exact reason that we couldn’t verify your identity but some of the most common reasons are a recent house move or name change, not being on the Electoral Roll or that the credit card details provided couldn’t be verified.

We regularly make updates to our processes and we hope that this will allow more people to be automatically matched so please do come back and try again.

If you’ve any questions, or would like further information, please email us at register@noddle.co.uk.

i had this before with either experian or equifax about three years ago, is it because i just moved or that i am not on electoral roll. when i did it three years ago it asked for my passport which i was shocked at. how come banks can access your details straight away but yet when i tried it - nothing?

i do have a passport but object to sending it for fear it gets lost.

  • Noodle just popped up on hotdeals so I had a peek, can anyone tell me if it's worth signing up to the premium service?
The basic service is pretty good for free :)
I know what to do to improve my rating but wonder if this feature will do anything 'useful' in addition.
Can be a bit of a pain building a decent credit report when you don't work (due to disabilities in my case). I'd like to do all I can in my situation but don't like the sound of the terms/conditions.
Want to make sure it really is worth it before I handcuff myself to a contract :)

I signed up for their "score service months ago for £20 for the year. Whilst I find the report useful the rating and score they have given me is insulting.

Just take the free report for life to make sure nothing is incorrect.

I get reports from all 3 agencies regularly and find that they are all slightly different so its worth keeping an eye on them all.

Statutory reports from the others of course

Individual Credit scores don't exist so please don't waste money on getting a meaningless score from a company that doesn't lend money.
  • I can't get access to the Noddle report, it states it cannot match my information or something like that. I know one problem I always have is every time I fill in an application (for credit or just for this) I have a guess at the "time lived at address" my current address I know the month and year I moved in but as for my last address I just take a shot in the dark. Could it be this reason why they cannot match?
  • I seem to be having the same problem signing up for Noddle as others. I'm wondering if it's because I'm using a debit card to register. Hey ho, I've emailed them using the:

    register@noddle.co.uk

Email address they provide on the website to see if they can help. Fingers crossed.
  • I almost forgot to say - hi all!
  • I'm finding noddle very useful.

I've raised a dispute over an old account and it was dealt with swiftly and professionally.

I did have issues signing in initially signing up with my debit card - it turned out that the address on the 'Verified with Visa' system was incorrect. So it wasn't verifying correctly.
At least good to know that there is that layer of security in place.
  • Cannot access this site.It just says not available. Is it still working?Or am I doing something wrong.Have tried several times now and just cannot get the sign up page or anything else.
    Could someone help please?
    Thank you
