    Morning

For some reason woke up early (for me) today so have been catching up on the boards and drinking my usual pint of tea:beer:

Got lots and lots of cleaning to do today as I have family staying next Saturday but I go away to work for 5 days tomorrow so no chance of cleaning before they arrive. For a single person I make a lot of mess:rotfl: so its going to be a long day!!

Having said all that I know for certain you are all going to developing a very strong shade of green when you find out what Im doing this evening. If you are naturally a jealous person may I suggest you skip this part of my post;)

Yesterday when I went out with my friends I found out they were going to the MEN tonight (manchester arena) but during the day we found out my god daughers friends mum who was also going tonight was ill and unable to go so they now needed another adult to go to allow her friend to still be able to go.

Now my excuse is that I had had a few vinos by this time and I couldnt see her mate not being able to go so........................ladies and gentlemen.............please dont be too envious ...............tonight I am going to see..............live................The !!!!! Cat dolls:eek:   :rotfl:

See told you you would be jealous:cool:

Right off to start the mammoth clean
    Have a great day all

    Morning all!

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday, will have to go read through the thread in a mo! Had a party in W4 so was knackered when I got home last night! My boss bought us a KFC so that was dinner taken care of! Still have a couple of bits in the fridge so they can be for sarnies if OH hasn't already got to them! He was up til late last night, I remember him coming into bed about 5ish... a few beers and Xbox Live and he's away! We don't go out so I should be glad that he didn't roll in drunk and lairy!

Hopefully we'll be going into Brighton today once I've woken him up... I'll have a bit of a tidy whilst he's asleep, although can't manage much as am quite tired and need to save my energy for bargain hunting! I really can't wait to order our dishwasher too, am so excited!! It's going to be such a help for us.

Have a nice Mocha here and am going to fill in some FBs which were sent with a letter I got yesterday. Going to finish replenishing my beads and charms so that I can get more designs sorted for my website.... and then have a bit of a tidy! When we get back from the city we'll have a bit more of a tidy :)

News on the rash... my GP told me to take 3x what it said on the antihistamine packet, and it seems to have calmed down now. I still have a couple of itchy bits, and a bumpy face, but it's going now, thank goodness.

Hot water is on for a bath, just trying to decide what bath stuff to use, as I'll have it first, then OH will have it next and I doubt he'd want to smell of sweets or something.....

    Have a peaceful Sunday x

    Morning folks,

    (((((Hugs to PP)))))

Well, I'm still plodding through my list for the weekend. Managed to get the living room and kitchen clean yesterday - that did include cleaning all the windows and scrubbing the balcony though :)

    Have a good day

site has been playing up for me and has just let me write a reply!
good morning I hope everyone is feeling well today?
it's like an icerink round here!
penny pincher sending you good wishesimages-7.jpg
I have to admit that I am guilty of driving to work with the car seats on numerous occasions! (OH can't drive but his mam often takes them out in the car and ends up driving to my work to get them!:o )
Well we went bowling last nite at 7pm but couldn't get a lane till 8:30pm, so we decided to go to the all you can eat chinese where ds2 started to play up-cue lots of dirty looks, tutting and eye rolling! I smiled at one waitress in apology and she tutted and shook her head at me! I felt like such a rubbish mam, and could have literally burst in to tears there and then!
ds1 who is 3 was like a little angel! ds2 looks like he is a spoilt little brat-I have brought them up the same so how can they behave so differently? what am I doing wrong?
When we got to the bowling alley he calmed down slightly and they LOVED it!
ds1 got lots of spares and kept shouting "gimme 5 mammy!" lol:rotfl:
they had the lights off and lots of music on load and ds2 kept dancing which was very cute!
So apart from the tantrum in the chinese we had a really good night when I think about it! (funny how your mind seems to focus on the bad things about the night)
W*rking again today, the lads are talking about going to kfc so I think I may join them!:D

    Good Morning All

Hugs to penny pincher, hope all goes well

MATH- how organised you sound. I'm always last minute. DH says I try to fit too much in but the trouble is it's not always the things I want to be doing.

    Targets for today
    1) Tidy up outside the backdoor which has become a bit of a dumping ground lately
    2) Change the beds
    3) Declutter ready for valuation on Tuesday - DH should come back with boxes in a minute
    4) 3 hours w*** for deadline tomorrow

5)plant the forgotten daffodil bulbs I found in a bag yesterday
Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me

Good morning all, I hope you are all well.

It's a beautiful day here but cold. I stayed up way to late last night chatting on this site and indulging in alcohol and therefore have a late start to the day today.

My plans are to clean all the downstairs windows and wash the nets, do a turkey roast for dinner, do the ironing and sort out the uniforms, the usual tidy and hoover round.

Anyway I'm off, have a good one everyone. Smoky. xxxxx

Morning everyone, hope everyone is well :) Nice bright day here too but still very cold, frost still on the ground.

Well not much done so far, washings almost finished and kids have been fed/watered/cleaned. BM is on, trying the fastbake loaf for first time, I'm still like a kid with a new toy :o Half dressed, PJ bottoms and tshirt so I best get dressed properly then crack on with the rest of the housework I need to catch up on and make sure DSs do their homework! Need a coffee first of course and have to wake DP up.

Have a great day everyone :)

*EDIT* Oh blimey I just set my BM on fire, was putting HM flour away and slipped flour fell in where the element is (still hot off loaf I just took out) and it caught fire, it's out now, but that scared the **** out of me!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning all
I'm on day five of the dreaded lurgy today - I was really hoping it would have been on the way out by now, but it still has a strong grip (on my throat mostly!)

Slight emergency last night - got into bed at 11pm and noticed a wet celing. OH was less than impressed at having to get up into the loft at that time of night. One of the tanks is leaking - hopefully it only needs a new washer, but we've turned off the water to it just in case!

Plans for the day are no housework & as little cooking as I can get away with, in exchange for lying on the sofa under my "poorly blanket" with a hot blackcurrant. Hopefully a shower will make me feel a bit better.

Hugs to all, especially those feeling as grim as I do.
