    Good morning all.
I seem to have thrown off the worst of the coughing, so will attempt to get back into work tomorrow. To which end, anyone who wants to swap body clocks is welcome to mine. I used to be great at early morning starts, but this year, since the clocks went back in October, I've been almost completely useless. My natural time has changed from 6:00 a.m. to about 7:45-8:15 a.m. I find being in school for 8:00 a.m. gets me through the day, so the current bodyclock is really useless for that.

OH has gone to Norway for a week of climbing. Since his friend's accident in another part of Norway last July(ish) (still in hospital) I don't really want to think about what OH is doing.
This leaves me with the dog to deal with during my working day. Because Monday would be the worst, (with a staff meeting and no lunch hour it becomes an 8:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. marathon), I'm taking the hound to MIL tonight until Tuesday lunchtime. She's great with him, and he'll love it there, but I feel like Herod if I ever have to leave him for any length of time, like I used to be leaving my children with sitters. My problem I suppose, but it will feel awful.
Nephew's 3rd Birthday today. He's the first off my super organised "All-the-year's-birthdays-sorted-in-the-sales" method attempted this year. The list of who has what is on the computer, and as soon as I went to look for it, the computer set off an alarm and crashed! Fortunately I forced OH to salvage my info before he went away, so I discovered what I was planning to give him in time. It'll have to be a drive by gift giving if I'm not going to pass on this horrendous lurgie, so I need to arrange that with step sister. She lives on a farm with several free roaming guard dogs, so visits have to be planned and heralded.

Must take houndlet off for a walk nowish so Hello to all, have a restful day if possible.

    Good morning everyone,

Had a lie in this morning, but still not feeling good, my glands are up in my neck, so it hurts everytime i swallow - but never mind, the sun is shining outside and ive promised my 2 we can have waffles for breakfast, so they are happy (which makes me happy).
Plans for today are to clean upstairs (my bedding is already in the WM) and then relax, might find a dvd to put on this afternoon and cuddle up on the sofa with the kids (well, if they want to join me, i think they might prefer to go out on their bikes rather than veg out with mum, but i dont mind, a bit of peace and they will be out in the fresh air, rather than playing nintendo and play station!!!)
Right, these waffles wont make themselves.
Have a lovely day everyone, ((HUGS)) to all who need/want one.
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Good morning everyone! Well I had a lie in this morning and am feeling pretty good. Trouble is, my body clock is set to wake up at about 5:30/6 ish as well so a lie in for me is now till about 7 - I cannot sleep much past then!
My user name is a variation of my nickname from university. Back in the day (early 90's) I was a bit of a goth/rock/indie type of girl and I used to wear combat boots with little bells attatched to them!
My plan for the day is to sort the washing and go to the allotment to do some digging. Have a nice Sunday everyone

Morning Yall, Bright, sunny and frosty here in the emids. Gloves and scarf for the trudge to church me thinks. LOL The MATHLETTS love cold morning, we have a Dragon Breath competition, where we compete for who can breath the most 'smoke'

N9eav et al - Spare a thought for your poor ol partners. Mrs MATH's internal alarm goes off at 6:30am , springing fromher pit, radio on, hairdryer set to cyclone setting! Unfortunately, my internal alarm is set for 11:30am. I'd be sweet natured if only I could get some sleep:rotfl:

PP - I've heard of chippie Minton so I'd a rough idea what they did (somat we wood) Didn't think you'd run a chipshop cos that would make you Cilla from Corro wouldn't it:rotfl: Hope your ossy appts go ok and you enjoy your time away.

    So far...
Casserole is in the oven to cook while we are at church. Dumplings all set for mixing and adding later with HM Blackberry and apple crumble to follow. MIL & FIL invited for dinner today.

Washing is just starting its final spin, airer is dizzy with anticipation.

DW emptied, refilled and back on.

House not very tidy but I shall ignore that till tomorrow.

    For later...
Sort filled rolls for tonights supper and tomorrows lunches.

Make sure the MATHLETTS have done their homework.

Snuggle down with the cats to watch Lillies from Friday night.

Have a good day all OS'rs

  • Morning all! A bright frosty morning here as well, it's beautiful from the inside (not keen to go outside and test the air yet, brrrr :rotfl: )

Have given up on my internal alarm system, it seems to defy all logic. Not to mention the assistance of a certain black furry catty person who NEEDS breakfast at any time from 4.00 onwards in the morning and if she doesn't get it NOW, pats my head with claws extended until I DO get up

Not much planned for today apart from making some HM soup, stewing enough apples to have on my porridge all week and ploughing through the mountain of ironing AGAIN. OH is 'working' so that will keep him quiet on his computer all day hopefully, still not my favourite person atm.

Hugs to PP and anyone else who needs them! I'm off for my shower now and then it's into the kitchen I go...

    Have a good day all

    Morning all

Three loads of washing on the line.....it's only frozen a bit :D

Vegetables prepared ready for lunch but not time to start cooking yet so I'm here (my favourite place). Can't do any baking until the shopping comes on Tuesday because I used up all the flour yesterday.

Nobody else is in and it's lovely and peaceful and warm because the sun is shining through the house.

Math...I'm a huge lillies fan...I'm originally from round Liverpool way ,Lillies just reminds me of all the stories my late dad used to tell me .... Especially about his pet chicken called Denis who all the kids loved and used to pet and feed .....until one christmas morning ....you can picture the scene ...

Lillibet....My BIL is always pulling the car seat trick on my SIL.

Big Hug to those in need today.

Well I had a lovely lie in this morning........Which has now put me well behind..Loads to do today .

DD1 has an Egyptian day next week at school so I've really got to make a start on putting together some kind of costume .......Heaven Knows what she'll end up looking like as my sewing skills leave a lot to be desired. Most of the parents I've spoken to have bought costumes:eek: ....Madness.

Hope everyone has a really lovely Sunday.

Oh and my user name is because .....I must have a saving;)
