Searched online for all hotels within 100 miles of my destination and none came up as £20.12 for various dates in Dec and Jan. :mad::mad::mad:

Link isn't working - I finally booked a room via the on-line chat although only for a night. I got the on-line chat to show by refreshing the booking page

1st time all night it had shown the £20.12 rate - might be worth trying again for those who tried earlier.
Off to get some kip now!

Good Morning All,

Update (after a few hours of zzzzz's and a read of the new posts).

Although successful in booking Elstree (convenient for central London - 3 miles from rail & 5 miles from tube) for 28/01 - I note I could have booked Travelodge Uxbridge for £25.50 (some rooms overlook the Underground & Bus Terminus) - what a MUPPET I am, staying up past 2am and the cost of the calls to their wonderful "PROFIT GENERATING" 0871 number.
