Blindman - I'm not bitter or upset I didn't get a room and I'm glad some people did get rooms in the end. I dont expect to get a room by complaining. Furthermore, you're missing the point. IHG clearly stated the terms of the offer and didn't stick to them. Imagine seeing an advert on tv by tesco saying bread was reduced to 20p online and in store from 00:01 on 20/12/11 then going into the store/online at 00:01 and getting told the offer isn't on. You'd feel mislead right? Well businesses can't do that it goes against consumer protection regulations. And its not just me that thinks this, hence why it's been passed to trading standards.

I made a booking in the £20.12 sale for a Crowne Plaza hotel but payment hasn't been taken from my card and no email confirmation has been received. I printed the confirmation when I made the booking and when I log in to Priority Rewards the booking does show as confirmed so not too worried, just a bit concerned that they haven't taken payment and the booking is for 27th Dec.

I made 2 other bookings in the sale for Express by Holiday Inn hotels and payment has been taken and email confirmation received for both.

Has anyone else made a Crowne Plaza £20.12 booking and if so did you get an email and was payment taken?

I managed to get 1 night at the CP in Cambridge at the end of January & 1 night mid January at the HI Harrogate, neither has been charged yet on my credit card. (I'm not too worried as sometimes IHG can show up on the day of the first night.)

While I did not get any London deals I am more than happy with my 2 nights. One is for a gift & is for a weekend away as an extra post Christmas treat.

Does that price include the continental breakfast? Thats my favourite thing about the premier inn and holiday inn style hotels.

this offer is over but you would need to pay extra for breakfast unless is it is Holiday Inn Express where the breakfast in included in the room price
