Charging relatives for Xmas dinner
Comments
-
there will be 19 of us for christmas dinner this year . none of us really have the spare cash to pay for it all by them selfs. so what we do is count up what everything will cost us and split it
between all the adults . this years dinner is costing £8 an adult . for that you get a 3 course meal cattering for veggies and all. plus drinks . kids are free.
we all help prepare the meal , so its a real family thing . wouldnt change it for the world.

I think the key thing here is that the relatives are not offering to help out with the cost, the person is demanding the money and must be making a profit!0

That sounds like a lovely family day, and nobody is profiting from it:D;)"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Crikey!! We just asked my auntie, uncle to bring some nibbles! They brought pudding , pringles , booze , cheese , crackers which was way more than we expected. I would rather go to a posh restarunt than pay £30 quid for a roast at some ones house and bring my own booze.. JeezNanMias - cyber granddaughter!
