Well done Purple :T
I am glad someone is willing to help the teachers with the kids - I would throttle the little angels :A
What volunteer work do you do?Just keep swimming!0 -
Hi purple, i work with Primary, i volunteered at first in a school and then was offered a position after a few months when a child recieved some funding, might be wrth volunteering a couple of mornings somewhere, especially schools that have high SEN/behaviour issues.0

I currently volunteer in a primary school local to home. The school has a mixture of SEN kids and normal kids, which is fantastic as I want the experience of both abilities. X0

Morning everyone,
Had a NSD yesterday but won’t be having one today, I ordered my mum some flowers to say thank you (she paid for me to do the course) and that should be coming out of the account today.
DH bought some bits and has put them on the CC…thankfully it is only £70 so a smallish amount. Upshot is DS dropped hubby’s laptop and DH is trying to fix it (he’s clever like that) but if it doesn’t work, it means a new one so he’s trying the £70 fix first.
Added a £2 coin to the pot, some change to the demi-john and £3 coins to the other pot.
Spoke to my tutor last night and she wants me to complete the next module and work want me to complete my Level 2 Food Hygiene…should keep me busy for a while.
I’ve done some calculations and if I’m going to clear at least £3000 off the credit card this year I need to up the payments to £250 a month, I definitely need a better paid job then if I’m to make this work…keep looking for a TA job I think.
I have at least £7 to come from Quidco, so I think I’ll pay that off once it come through.
Right off to get motivated and ready for work, have a good day everyone xx0 -

Morning all,
A bit of a bad week last week, had a spendy week. DH decided to get the old laptop up and running as he got his one going the week before, so although it has cost us on the credit cardit does mean that I've got his old laptop now all to lil old me
NSD's didn't quite work out either last week as I bought more bits for Christmas
On the upside we started climbing again, DS did his club and DH, DD and I used my mum's voucher, I'm so unfit it is unbelieveable!
I get paid on Thursday, this pay includes any overtime I did at Christmas.
Three weeks until DH gets paid
Yesterday was a NSD and today will be one too, I added another £2 coin to the pot but don't know how much is in there and I've added more shrapnel to the demi-john.
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Well done for passing the course, good luck with the maths and job hunting:)
I'm also a TA, although at a secondary school.Everything is ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end

Morning,
Woken up full of a cold this morning, feel like crap
Oh well, on to the money side of things:
£7.60 saved in 20ps - once this gets up to £20 I'll put on the budget card.
£20 saved in £2 coins - this is going on the budget card and then I'll start again.
30p added to the demi-john
I need to update the finances and see what we have left and to come out of the account, I get paid tomorrow so I might leave it until then.
Need to get some washing done today and contact my tutor about her ringing next week.
Have a good day everyone. x0 -
