Hi hunny.Only just read your post. You sound one very strong person.Your story is one that made me feel so sad.Why men should be so violent to their partners is dreadful.

May i just say that my heart is out to you.I do hope everything falls into the right place.Btw, I am a bloke and I am admiring the way you are coping.Makes me feel quite humble.God Bless you.

  • Hi, rinkydink, glad to hear you are doing okay and things are moving forward.
Good idea to go for the injunction as well, as you never know with court.
Panic button also sounds a good idea. Wish I'd had one of those.

Something will turn up on the jobs front, it always does.

Chin up, eh? Keep smiling. You're doing really well and I'm so proud of you:D

Wishing you all the best. ((((((hugs)))))

hi everyone i spent the morning with the womens refuge project they were very helpfull and have gort me an apt with a debt counsellor on monday so hopefully if my creditors wont budge after my letters this guy can help, Just had my panic alarm fitted to so i feel a bit better now. DH is in court tomorrow not Thursday as i thought pleading not guilty still i dont understand why especially as there is previous. im presuming this will mean its adjourned and i will at some point have to give evidence, i was told this is just a time buying tactic he has been advised to do so that it will put me off and i will drop the charges (which i wont ) the only thing that worries me is if he does go guilty the bail conditions no longer stand im getting a bit befuddeled by all this now if anyone knows about court procedures please let me know im quite worried about it because he will be angry when its all over especially if hes going not guilty and gets off with it.
  • hiya if he does get bail it willl most likely be what they call conditional bail. i would expect the police/judge etc will insist on one of the conditions being that he does not contact you in any way, is required to reside at a certain address, and also may well be asked to sign on at his local police station.

would also expect a police liason officer to inform you of the outcome of his court appearance.

you seem busier this week getting things sorted next weekend wont be as long as this one just gone, and as you find your way around the forums here you'll find the time flying. i am pleased that you are still on track despite missing the good times! soldier on you will be okay.

Hi, Good on you rinkydink you seem to have had a very positive couple of days. I think it is a good idea to get the injunction too, glad you have had the panic alarm installed bet that makes you feel a bit safer.

Well done for sending those letters off (might be a bit late now but did you remember to keep a copy!) I am sure that the counsellor will be able to get things sorted for you and give you some breathing space, try not to worry too much.

Just a thought would the DV team (or the police!) be able to advise you about other security on the house - maybe changing locks or do you have a house alarm that you could change the entry code to. Well done so far and keep your chin up.
