SS often comes out with the nicest things.....he's very misunderstood, poor thing :rotfl:

I'm very misunderstood. This place doesn't allow me to express myself! :D

Not sure what sort of nasty game your mum is playing, but your little boy is better off with you, depression or no depression.

You do make me giggle - feel like a schoolgirl all over again

You know what they say, no shoes, no k****ers :rotfl:
  • Seriously though, I think you're mum is jealous of what you've got! :)

Don't be so hard on yourself. You sound like your bringing up a top little lad who is gonna break a few girls hearts! ;)

Now there's the SS we all know and love :T

  • I echo again what so many people have said - you've got a really fantastic little boy there - all credit to you!

Can't say I'm surprised you're depressed, though, with no support at all from your mum, who seems to think she's in competition with you, or something..:(

Samuel told me that he doesn't really want to live with Grandma and Pa as Grandma never tells him off even when he is naughty and she always wants cuddles and won't let him play and she always wants him to tell her that he loves her more than me - mind games and its not fair - hes only 7 and a very young 7 at that and wants to please everyone but she shouldn't be saying things like that to him.

So let me get this straight. Your little boy offered to go to live with his grandparents - whom he doesn't like - in order that you could afford a pair of boots.

And you think you're a bad parent because you've produced such a selfless child..?

    Have I got that right?

Anyway - rambling again- i'll shut up now - I know this isn't the place to tell all my troubles and fears -we're supposed to be helping each other get out of debt and save, not have a moan - so i'll go now and leave you all in peace.

No. this is exactly the place to tell people troubles and fears. Money is only a small part of it.

I know a device that will help with your depression. Put them on whenever you see your mother. Buy a couple of pairs for the rest of your family too.
