weller I'm so sorry about your miscarriage. this website has some great support if you're interested. http://www.uk-sands.org/

your life has been such a rollercoaster, but you are doing so well.
Its not long now till the summer holidays. get down the Dr's and get some help to deal with this bad patch...and it is just a patch. then maybe by the time school starts again you'll be back to full strength again.

    I have every confidence in you. x x x

Some good news for a change :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Bought a lucky dip for the lottery last night and just checked my numbers and I have won £71 (for 4 numbers), yipeeeeee:T :T :T

Hmmmmm, now what shall I do with the money:-

    1. Treat the kids

    2. Treat OH as its Fathers Day (though he says he doesn't want anything)

    3. Pay it off the debt

    4. Buy something for the house

    5. :o Treat myself:o

Oh, by the way, I have set myself a goal to start taking Sam to school in September when the new school year starts and I AM going to do it, even if I haven't lost all the weight I want to - a new "year" - a new start :j :j I am totally determined about doing this and losing the weight so wish me luck.

I'm going to the GP's tomorrow to ask to change my AD's as when I did some research on the internet, the AD's I'm on have one of the highest weight gain and I think of it like this, I am depressed but I am more depressed 'cos I don't go out and I don't go out because of my weight - just goes round and round so I'm not having it anymore - there I've said it !!!!!

Weller I really don't want to talk out of turn because the last thing I want to do is upset you. I've contemplated whether to post this or not but have decided I will. If you want me to remove it you only have to tell me. :)

Why the hell do you need anti-depressants?

From your own words, you have got a godsend of a hubby, 2 fantastic kids, one of which despite being so young shows care and compassion that alot of adults aren't capable of, you are tackling your debt brilliantly, you have put an end to your mum manipulating you, you are getting on with your dad better than ever now things are in the open, you might be able to build a relationship with your mum that you are happy with, you are losing weight, you are taking control of your own life and destiny.

I won't pretend I know all about depression coz I don't, and I especially don't want you to come off them if it's gonna have a negative affect. But I do know that you should be proud of yourself for what you have achieved in such a short period of time. Many wouldn't have been able to cope with what you have and come out the other side, yet you have. Maybe you need to start giving yourself more credit than you are.

If they don't like the way I look then they can look at someone else :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm getting prouder of myself, I never thought I could stick to a diet like I have this last week and even OH is suprised for example, and I want the whole world to know it, its very hard but I know what I am inside and thats what people should take me for - if they don't like the way I look - tough. Though I am depressed and I do feel down on occassion I know that I have a lot of good in me - it just sometimes takes other people to make me realise it. I know I am not going to be un-depressed overnight but I am now determined not to let it get the better of me.

    Thanks SS
I appreciate your comments and I know I am lucky to have such a wonderful OH and kids and things seem on the up now.
I started taking AD's after I had Sam as there was medical negligence when they performed the CS (but thats another story) and I couldn't bond with him for a long time. I honestly didn't think I would be on them so long but with the case still to be settled (and therefore ghosts layed to rest), my Mum, my brother, Andy been ill for such a long time, miscarriages, debt and various other things, I have never stopped taking them, they just kept changing the tablets as nothing seemed to work, I was forever crying and in a state.

Oh, how i would love to be free of the bl00dy things, which is why I am going to see the GP and ask him to change them to a lower strength one so that gradually I can be weaned off them ITMS.

Don't worry, you haven't upset me - in fact I'm sat here with my glass of sugar free juice and a big smile on my face xxxxx

Sorry, forgot to add that when I had Sam, a lot of things from my childhood - not abuse or anything - raised their ugly heads and I was told that it had taken something traumatic to happen to me to make all these things appear ITMS and I have had trouble dealing with them xx
