Weller, please stay with us. We can help you get through this. Can I suggest you go and see your GP and explain how bad you're feeling. You may need some help and support to get through this really difficult time. That may be medication and/or counselling.

I suffer from depression and last year ended up spending a month in a psychiatric unit because I got so ill with it. A lot of that was because of the pressure I felt from the debt we are in. Please go and see someone and get the support you need and deserve.

We are all so much behind you - you've come so far in such a short space of time. We all so proud of you. Hang in there.

It does not matter how much debt you are in or what happens, your kids need you more than anything else in the world.

Starting point is ring samaritans, anyone. Given the situation, you OH may be feeling a bit battered as well. And go down the doctor NOW and sit there until they can see you. It is important, get support now, before the weekend starts.

Weller, please do talk to someone, like RAS and other have said, give the Samaritans a ring if you don't want to talk to anyone you know. There is always someone there. Also, make an appointment to see your Doctor asap. It's not just about pills.
I'm so sorry about your OH losing his job but you've got such lovely kids that you can't be a bad mother.

A big hug to you Weller. You'll get through this bit. Your dad won't have forgotten about the letters / emails you showed him - so he will realise something doesn't square with your mum's story and yours. I think your mum is worried that she's losing her influence so is trying her best to make you feel guilty (it's her usual trick isn't it?:rolleyes: ). you've only got HER word for it and you know that isn't always reliable. Take a deep breath. Give your dad time - and space. just let him know he'll always be welcome in your home.
Can you give CCCS or Payplan a ring to see how the news of your husbands redundancy will affect your payments? Will he be eligible for any redundancy money? Is there anything else coming up over the next few weeks that he could do?
You're panic-ing now but just think how much worse in debt you would have been if you hadn't started posting on MSE. Keep on posting - and give your CPN a quick call if you think you aren't coping. You have a family who think the world of you - and they wouldn't do that if they didn't think you'd earned it!. Hugs to you , OH, to Sam and to the babe...
