Hey Weller, I am welling up reading this. I just read your post at the top of this page, and I was struck by your signiture. Read it to yourself and think about how amazing you are. Not only are you a DFW and part of the wonderful family of MSE, but you are dealing with your debts, and PROUD to be doing it. You are the most wonderful and capable mum and wife and I think you rock. What would your OH and kids do without you? Your dad does love, he is just being poisoned at the moment. DO NOT blame yourself for that. You are incredible and do not deserve any bad things to happen to you, and neither do your kids.

PM me if there is anything I can do or if you just need a chat. I am addicted to MSE (not good with my finals in 5 weeks!) so I'm always here!

    Love and hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Nope. Wrong. Try again.

in fact, lets be honest I might as well not be here at all then hubby would get insurance money, pay mortgage and debts off and everything would be ok

Take a look on Stormy Bay's thread. The people on there would do *anything* to get their loved ones back. You are a loved one, and your husband and children would do anything to retain you. Your son would go and live with the grandmother he doesn't really like in order that you could afford some new boots - remember that?

From the sounds of your diary, they don't come much nicer than you - he'd be more likely to meet Elvis Presley than someone nicer.

    slimmer

Slimness has nothing to do with anything. Would your mother be a nicer person if she was slimmer? No. Not even close.

and who would be a good mum to my kids

It would be hard to be a better mum to your kids than the mum of your kids. That would be you wouldn't it?

And dreary. You can get sun without rain, but it is barren and empty - just take a look at the Sahara Desert.

Get a cuppa and that'll calm you down - things are always better post-cuppa. It isn't the end of the world, this is just a transitory problem, just like the Social Services things was. Your father will eventually talk to you again, and you are going to have to ask "Why did you believe the word of a woman who lied to Social Services about her own daughter so that her own grandchilden would be taken into care?"

I am so sorry that life has dealt you another set back. I hope that you get all the redundancy money due to your OH as soon as possible.

It is really quite the worst time to happen I know, as you can't manage to sort anything out money wise until Tuesday. But as regards the mortgage, please contact them on Tuesday and explain the problem. Maybe they can give you a payment holiday for a couple of months until OH has a job.

And don't you do yourself down girl. I stand by my earlier comment I am VERY proud of what you have overcome since you started coming on here. And if your lovely boy lost you at his age, he would be unconsolable. It would never be worth it.

Big hugs love, try and enjoy your family over the weekend.
    all the best

Lots of wise words from people who really care. That's what is great about this board, everyone pulls together.

I hope you are feeling a bit better now, Weller. Please pop back on soon to let us know how things are.

And remember, we are all here to help in whatever way in which cyberspace will allow xx

OK listen up lady coz I'm only going to say this once.

You've dealt with worse !!!!!! than this and come through the other side. And you will do again now.

Why do you want to kill yourself when you have yourself said your family mean the world to you?

I said this on another thread. Success is measured by happiness. Not wealth. I also said something about how having a big willy helps but ignore that bit! ;)

Seriously hun, you have come so far. Now your being asked to go that little bit further. And with Andy, Sam and the bubba you will.

Tackle this crap head on and control it. Don't let it control you. Get on to the bank first thing Tuesday (bloody bank holiday) and explain the situation.

Is he getting a pay off at all?
