  • Had another letter this morning but have not opened it - just put it away. At a loss as how to make her stop because she doesn't seem to listen etc. Have put all the e-mails in a folder as they are still coming and though it is really getting me down I am determined not to let her win. She seems to think that her tactics are going to get her what she wants but they are not.

Anyway, just wanted a moan xxx
  • Hi ya weller! :D

Can you not throw a bucket of boiling water on her when she walks up the path?

Well done for not opening the letter, you have the upper hand in all of this, hang on to that. You are doing so well and are so right not to let her win, it must be so hard after being kicked all this time but you are on the up now :)

  • Weller - re the emails and letters your Mum is sending, you might like to look here:

http://www.harassment-law.co.uk/ - click 'malicious communications' on the left hand menu.

I know it might sound extreme, but what she is doing is illegal. You might like to let her know that!

Haven't read all of the thread yet so apologies if I've missed something.....but just wanted to send you a big hug - that first post made me cry. Have to agree with others who said what a wonderful, sensitive young man you're raising there. He sounds an absolutely sweetie!

    Hi Weller

Have been reading your tread for a while without commenting but I would just like to say that it doesn't matter what your mother puts in those emails or letters, or even what she says to you or other people. You have support of all us behind you now, and your hubby, and there is nothing that we can't deal with!

  • Hi Lisa/Weller,

I've just read through the entire thread so far and I think you've coped fantastically and reacted the best way anyone could.

Well done for being brave enough to post on here and I found myself waiting on every installment! I'll keep an eye on this thread from now on.

For what it's worth, you sound like a fantastic person and a brilliant mother.

    Chin up.

Well done for not opening the letter - depending on what email you use you can actually block senders as well and not even receive them....may be an option.

    Chin up and stay strong.

  • Its hard as I want to have it out with her but knowing the mind games she plays and she knows how soft I am - so its not an option. Will just keep plodding along and enjoying my kids - like many of you I'm waiting to see what trick she pulls next as the ones she is doing now obvioulsy are not working:D

Have added her e-mail address to list of blocked senders so they will just go into bulk folder - thank you Claudie.

SS - well, you have the right idea - didn't Dorathy do something similar to the Wicked Witch in The Wizard Of Oz - or am I just completely off the mark  But love the thought of that - you are always so clever;)
